Merciiii
This is amazing footage and video quality. So relaxing and beautiful to watch. Reminds me of Craig Adams' videos. Excited to see what adventures are next!
Thanks! Acclimatization is key, and keep in mind the option to push for the main summit if you have the energy left at the summit plateau. Many groups just climb up to the sub-summit. Have a enjoyable climb with good conditions!

Amazing video. Going to Ecuador in a week again, as we couldn't summit Chimborazo in 2021 due to avalanche risk... Question regarding shoes and temperature: how cold was it? My 6.000m boots got stolen in Peru and I either have my LaSportiva Nepal Extreme or my big 8.000m scarpa boots 😅
Because my luggage didn't arrive at the airport in Quito, I had to do it without my G2SM and borrow lighter shoes (same category as the Nepal Extreme). I had very cold feet during the ascent and would have preferred thicker shoes. However, I'm also very sensitive in that regard, while others had no issues with this shoe category. 🤔
I would personally prefer to take the 8000-meter boots... but for most people, the thinner ones are probably sufficient. Either way, have a great time and hopefully a bit more luck regarding the avalanche risk:)
I’m glad you like the video :) I captured this Timeless moment using my GoPro's Time Lapse feature, snapping a shot every second. I just set up the camera and let it film for several minutes:)
@@maltmountain thank you so much for your response. I really appreciate it 🙂 I do have a gopro as well. Its a gopro 6. The quality is nothing close to what you have here. I am guessing it is the new gopro 11? Amazing effort once again. I am heading there myself to summit Chimborazo this october and want to make videos like you did. Thank you once again for your response 😀
@@divyashree.adapa89 Thanks a lot for the kind words! You can really look forward to summiting Chimborazo in October, it's going to be an amazing adventure! I used the GoPro 9 for most of the shots in the video, including the time laps. The iPhone 13 came in handy for those zoomed-in shots and for all shots before sunrise. In low light, I can't get decent shots with the GoPro..
Hi, I payed about 2000$ for climbing 10 days with a guide in Ecuador (Illiniza Sur, Illiniza Norte, Antisana and Chimborazo). You would need proper double layer boots (6000m boots), climbing gear (crampons, harness…), down jacket etc.:)
The company doesn’t have a website but you can finde them on Facebook and Instagram. My guide worked for many years in Ecuador as a guide..two years ago he moved to Germany. That’s how I got in contact with him. In general 2 weeks should definitely be enough for a proper acclimatization and climbing Chimborazo. I did the summit on day 10. But at the end of the day you still need some luck with the weather..
I'd rather go to places that aren't overrun with people and garbage. Thank you for posting this beautiful adventure. Congratulations!
What a mesmerizing scenery with the mesmerizing tune 😢
Belleza
So beautiful. A gift to us that most will never get to visit. And that unacceptable!
your video said more with no words than other videos i’ve watched on the same mountain that are fully narrated
It pleases me that you like my style. I always try to let the shots speak for itself to convey the mood:)

Hi. Amazing video. Im from Ecuador and in the next month we gonna try reach the peak. Exactly in what date did you climb Chimborazo?
We were on the summit on January 29, 2023. I wish you a nice trip and a wonderful experience!
This is amazing footage and video quality. So relaxing and beautiful to watch. Reminds me of Craig Adams' videos. Excited to see what adventures are next!
I’m glad that you like the video:) And I will check out Craig Adams channel. Thank you!
Thanks for posting. I will make my second attempt this coming January. This is a tough slog.
Absolutely, hard work it is😅! Good luck!
I’m in Riobamba now waiting for this to be organised. Any tips? Video is amazing!

@@maltmountain thanks for the reply. Maybe I'll just take both (if I have enough luggage space left) and test them out on Cayambe and Antisana.
So relaxing and beautiful. Especially the time lapse part. May i know what did you to shoot the entire footage?
