    I think I love these early episodes almost better than the up to date Lidia shows. Hey, they are all good, but these are a gem!!!

    It's a pleasure to see a more complicated recipe instead of the dumbed down ones we only see these days. "15 minute meal" shows that don't mention the hour it takes to prep and the hour it takes to clean up. And as an aside, in Italy a serving of pasta is the size of a teenagers fist, not the size of an adult's head, like here in USA. And notice that she pours liquid into the pan before the garlic gets very brown. Once garlic gets browner than that it turns bitter and the dish is ruined.

    My Mom always made pasta con zarde, I assume it’s the same thing you just made, always delicious, my Mom was an excellent cook , she cooked just like you, amazing, I could watch you all day, you remind me of my Mother so much, ThankYou👍😘❤️🙏 Helen Hart
