Well being poor is a mentality. The rich don’t usually spend their own money, and often they borrow to invest too. There are many ways to get to a place of financial abundance, but there is one essential criteria-you have to be open minded and believe it’s possible. You must always look within yourself first.

Pool your income then. Sacrifice some independence and live with other family members. The food and energy expenses of a bigger household are barely more than a smaller one, yet with a bigger household you have all those incomes coming in from everyone and only 1 rent, 1 heating is paid. Fewer cars are needed which can be shared. Only 1 person needs to lose time on cooking, instead of everyone if they lived separately. You have more brains, the saved money and time can be invested better, by opening/developing a family business. It is not easy to get along, but if you live alone or as 2, you are merely working to make money not to yourself but to the company, government, landlord, bill collectors, etc.

I feel you; take what little you have left and get skills and training just to make a little more to invest a little more in you. I moved away because my home town is now 2 million dollars a house and to get job they wanted college just to flip a burger at minimum wage. It’s like fresh water fish trying to swim in the ocean they can’t. Sometimes you need to leave town or the country because they don’t value what you have to offer. If your going backwards each month then you need to leave town and find where can make it and grow tell you can come back.

The only way forward is to find a way to live for free, work remotely if you can and become a self professed engineer. Home batteries, solar panels, chickens!!!! Biogas and Rain filtration. People get hooked on the idea of living in a "Home". But you can't afford a home!! I'm sorry! But unless you earn £100k+ and can buy a 5 year mortgage after the inevitable crash. You can afford a caravan on a 1/2 acre land in the countryside, or a converted bus. Be realistic and capitalize on the time you're in. We're in feudalism and the desire for affirmation via cars and possessions is the reason we're all poor. The future rich will live for free because they understand they cannot control capitalism, only mitigate it.

      Honestly it’s true,
if you are working atleast a 9-5, suffer for a couple of years and mostly buy cheaper things so you gain bigger leftover amount of money every month and invest that, every month you keep adding to these investment(s), while you might suffer you will very realistically have 600 a month to invest.
the money is gonna keep adding up so in 1 year you will have invested 7k and Lets say you dubble the money the first year with your investment(s) and tripple it the second year. Your first year you will have 12000 and the 2nd (12000+6000x3)you will have 54 000, you could then take 10k out.
Then step over to part-time work for the 3rd year 2days a week (40% of wat you used to)
You will have 2k a month this year if you earn 100 a day. And if your dubbeling your money the 3rd year with your investment(s) that’s 88k.
4th year you take 30k out and stop working. you dubbele your money again with investing and BAM you have 116k
And didn’t even have to work. 5th year you take out 30k and if you dubbel your investment again you have 172k just with your investments.repeat repeat.
If this continues you have 6,8 million after 10 years while living on 200k for the year. Ofcourse this will vary a bit depending on where you live. And yes my source is trust me bro.

This concept is what actually got us out from the great depression. I really hope that there's someone clever enough out there that just understands what this man is trying to say. "No matter what the amount is" he says. Nobody said to not pay bills, food or rent. You invest 1 bloody dollar when you get your paycheck and then proceed to think of your expenses. The main goal is to change the first thing on which your brain focuses when you receive your paycheck. The philosophy itself it's all that matters, changing the direction your attention goes in. One month you invest 1$, another maybe 5$. Then something changes in time, sometimes it grows and you can reinvest without risking to not pay your rent or bills. So automatically you're having more money from your investments (if you have patience and perseverance). This Madame and Monsieur is one of the best ways to reprogram your brain to be successful. I'm not saying you'll be all billionaires, but for sure you'll be able to provide for your families and be more than comfortable.

Ah yes, just invest your money first and live off of nothing until it grows disproportionately to inflation!!!! Top tips right here guys!!
Being poor is not a mindset it’s called being exploited. Being rich is not a mindset it’s called exploiting.

Technically he is saying poor people should focus on investments rather than worrying about food and shelter. GOT IT

Very practical , when I listened to this years ago I was only a student and after my budget had like $30 left , I saved/invested that first before paying any bills and rent on the same day I got paid. The habit of doing this build a philosophy that has stuck, even now that I have a graduate job with 15 years and counting in my professional job. It doesn’t matter how much it was the habituation and discipline I knew I first had to build. If you can’t save $5 of pay-check, we’ll how will you save 10% of a million - harder

How is that even a question? It’s a million. Minimum wage barely covers rent and bills.

I agree. Not that I am rich myself at the moment... But I can clearly see the difference between the poor and rich mindset.
I experienced times when I did not have money for food... And then I DECIDED that this would never happen to me again.

I used to wash homeowners windows in my 20’s working for myself with a buddy. Of course we went to rich neighborhoods. Talked to clients here and there, wives of CEO’s and such.
What I noticed: On average rich people waste less money than poor people relative to their incomes.

@@RMF49 Rich people are typically much more intentional with what they do. Particularly the ones who didn't inherit it.

For the ones who don't understand, he's saying, use your investment wisely and invest well. Then your food and rations will follow. Great philosophy, thanks jim

The problem here, is that to invest with any noticeable impact, you need to have a lot of spare money. And if your money is completly consumed by your basic life expenses, what are you going to invest? Good luck investing 10$ a month.

Poor people sometimes don't have money to buy food, how can they spend money investing? Many people outside US or Europe don't even have the opportunity to get access to the stock market

That's actually incredible advice. You should of course eat and find shelter, but invest your money before you buy a lotto or some bbq or whatever.
