Hi Dial2fast. Thank you so much for the review! I was just wondering if this dashcam records over the existing video on the card once the card is full? Or do i have to manually delete videos or format the disc every time it becomes full? Is there any warning when the sd card is low on space?
All dashcams work on 'loop recording' which means it continuously record a series of 1-5 minute video clip. Once the card is full, it will automatically begin overwriting the oldest file. You don't need to do anything.
@@dial2fast Thank you so much for the reply! I am deciding if I should this dashcam or the Viofo A129 duo (which you have an amazing review on). The Finevu seems to have a much easier user interface and has so much more components (a micro sd card and a hardwire kit included?! amazing) compared to the Viofo. However I feel as if the Viofo is more inconspicuous, less visible and less bulky. What would you suggest? Apologies for the long question.
Nice dash cam. only one major flaw, the power connector. Why not make it USB like all the others. For vehicles that came with only 1 power port that wont work when I have an USB adapter already installed there that give me 4 USB ports that are all in use. 1 being my current dash cam. As for hard wire option My 2010 Jeep compass had no fuse box in the interior. All fuses are located in the engine compartment and there are not many since Chrysler would rather use a TIPM instead of fuses.
I understand your point, but any dashcam that's truly designed to operate in parking mode and compatible with optional backup battery will use this type of power plug simply because the connector has to support 2 power wires. One for ignition and one for constant 12v. This is how the parking mode will automatically enable when ignition turn off. USB does not allow for this dual 12v sensing.
@@seekfactsnotfiction9056 Running 2 dashcams in the car doesn't make a lot of sense. Because you will have to run ignition 12V to the rear dashcam. Also they recording is separate and independent. The A119 V3 is not exactly cheap. Latest check on Amazon is $115. So if you get two, it's more than the FineVu. Even if say you already have a A119 and you just want to buy another A119 to install in the rear, why not spend an extra $45 and get the FineVu for a good front/rear complete system.
Great review. Straight forward. No BS. Thank you.
That is a great dashcam for the price. Thank you.
Great review, sounds like a very good value for money dashcam. Thankyou for sharing.

@@dial2fast How about using 2 dashcams of the Viofo A119V3 for front and rear DIY compared to this one? Which one might stand better quality?

Ty.. how I can change the language
How is the rear camera connected. If using a wire connection, how long is the wire? I have a 2019 Odyssey EX-L
It has a 19ft wire..
