Thanks for dropping by! 👋 I’m one of the rare breed around the Rocket City that was actually raised here. Never, as a a kid, did I expect this massive influx of ppl from all over the world!
Huntsville is considered the Silicon Valley of the south, it’s one of the fastest growing tech cities in America. You couldn’t throw a rock without hitting an engineer and more West Coast folks are moving here every day.
missles missles are one way rockets I live in Huntsville 26 yrs Have only met a couple dozen actual natives. Most are transplants of government jobs/military.
@@krystalanderic When I was a kid and my cousins from Birmingham would visit. They always wanted to go to the Space and Rocket Museum. But that was old hat to me, I just wanted to go to the mall and flirt with girls.😆
Only transplants like transplants. We natives do not like all the "growth." The gentrification and congestion are not supported by the infrastructure. Plus, the rising cost of living is not on par with what the people who are actually FROM here find sustainable. The people who built this city are being priced out and marginalized. But I guess this is no more disgusting than what's happening all over this "great" nation of ours. Thanks for visiting and leaving. We love TOURISTS!
This is really sad to hear - and we actually had a very similar experience in Nashville/Franklin TN on our way south! Huntsville was a great city to visit - but are more than happy to be heading home as well! Thank you for your hospitality!!
Your city is slowly being ruined. By the time you figure that out, it will be too late, and you'll be stuck with what you have. Take photos so that you can remember the good ole daze. Bigger is not necessarily better. Better is better.

That big spring is so cool!

Let’s go
Heck yes!
So cool to see a brother and sister really enjoying life!
haha! Make sure to like and subscribe
Very nice
Thanks!
Marshall Space Flight Center is actually the largest NASA location. You only saw the visitors center
My hometown!
That's awesome!! How do you feel about Huntsville? We had a great time visiting!
@@krystalanderic I love it. I grew up here, my kids have grown up here. I have lived in three states and five cities, but wouldn't live anywhere else
@@jimaccardi1076 That is terrific! Glad to hear it.
Ms. Krystal reminds me of Katee Sackoff. Huntsville is a pretty cool little town.
Yes it is! And that is so funny - this is the second time we have heard that now! 😂
Adults CAN go to Space Camp!
I (Eric) am going to have to sign up then 😂

That is so surprising - we had no idea until we arrived!
The Birmingham skyline at 3:57
It's actually Huntsville's skyline! We didn't get a chance to go to Birmingham
@@krystalanderic He's right. That is Birmingham's skyline shot there.
@@brian5238 it really isn't, we only use our own footage and we didn't go to Birmingham 🤷♂
Guess you missed that United States' rockets were developed and built in and around Huntsville.
We didn't realize until we got there! It was cool to see
missles

yeah we didn't learn that until we went to this museum 😂 and that makes sense after visiting as well, seem to be a ton of transplants!
@@krystalanderic so many engineers/rocket scientists...spies.
@@jeffreywienhoff6412 I'm reading the Slow Horses series (also an Apple TV show) and am obsessed with spies right now! That's so cool 😂
My hometown, where I was raised. It's so boring to me. 😅
haha! Sounds about right, hard to see one's hometown as a tourist destination. But this was our favorite place to visit in the South!

Welcome to my state but I am from Birmingham lol!
Well thank you! lol
We didn't get a chance to visit there, how is it??
