I'm listening again almost 20 years later, and I'm still proud of this work. I'm so happy to see fans posting that they like my work. I worked REALLY hard to create that score.
Playing this game would've felt wrong had anybody else done this score! I listen to your themes, and it immediately gives me nostalgia taking me back to when I played it the first time, I think around 2009 when I got a PS3 for Christmas. This was the first game I played for that console, and your music was instrumental (hehe) in my engagement with what I was playing. You made a killer score. The only thing Im bummed about is that it's nowhere to be found on Spotify or any other digital music store which just sucks, but that doesn't take away from the awesome work you did here :)
And you have created too the KOTOR II soundstrack and it was too a magistral record. Honestly thank you for that , you perfectly catch the spirit of Star Wars.
I'm so happy to see that fans still enjoy this game ... and my score. I'm hoping that Disney decides to release this soundtrack as an album ! Crossing fingers! ;
I didn't know you made the soundtrack for the Force Unleashed! Your work on KOTOR 2 was amazing. It's a shame that despite the KOTOR 2 soundtrack is available on Spotify, there are still some songs missing like the Jedi Enclave music, which was my favourite.
Still play it on my Wii I played all versions the Wii was the best imo had the best fights Ans combat even if graphics weren’t as good the combat and feel made it unnoticeable
@@theblasteffect4499 It wasn't just on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. A different version was made for PS2, PSP, and Wii (the Wii version also got a port to the Nintendo Switch on April 20, 2022), and I think another different version was made for the Nintendo DS.
15 years on, and wow... this soundtrack has truly stood the test of time. I hope it continues to do well for another 15, and beyond! May the Force be with you.
While I love this game, can we all agree that at some point this game stopped being: the force unleashed, and became: the force lightning unleashed...on every enemy
nah fam the force grip unleashed, I remember when I just gripped the stormtroopers and flung them out cuz it was both funny and the best method to kill them all at once
Just wanted to say, I am sure you and your work touched every Star Wars Fans soul. Even to this day I and many others are listening to these soundtracks. Thank you Sir for touching our lifes. You are awesome.
This theme song is something I've heard for almost a decade (Edit: Over a decade, 2009) now and every time i hear it i get chills up my back. especially the beginning
So when I was way younger, The Sarlacc Unleashed theme was one of my favorites. I played the second game first, because my console was effectively a hand me down, and we lost the first game. I loved every bit of it, but the most memorable part in the entire game was then the Sarlacc Unleashed theme played while ascending the Kamino cloning city. Not the awesome fights, not a great story. It was this single song that stuck with me, in this anazing atmosphere with my favorite boss fight of all time coming up. God, i wish i could experience that again, because it was just SO perfect. To the man who made the music for this game, mwah, youre amazing, you should get paid like, a million extra dollars for giving me such a good memory like that.
IRRC the Sarlacc theme also plays at the beginning of the duel between Starkiller and Darth Vader at the end of Force Unleashed 1 which is one of my favorite boss fights in all of video games.
I still play this game regularly, but never as Starkiller. I ALWAYS play with the alternate skins for the movie characters (Luke, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Qui-Gon, Mace, etc..) and I have a thrill matching the lightsaber crystal colors to their respective skins!
The Wii and PS2 versions had direct input from George Lucas - especially on the cinematics, while the PS3 and X-Box360 versions did not, but had higher resolution textures, graphics, and higher quality audio. I grew up renting the Wii version. Later on bought the PS3 and, while still fun, was a bit disappointed in it. Got the Wii version again recently. Much better!

The mission of general kota and the control room duel is so nostalgic
the only flaw in this game is that it was too short. Otherwise 10/10
Maybe you want to play the PS2/PSP version. It's longer
@@jurtra9090 I dusted my psp for this but it felt awful playing at that resolution and refresh rate again. Really sore on the eyes.

Griskey took a page out of Williams' book and really nailed the horns (usage of them) in this soundtrack.
When is was 7 years old i was playing only this game to my ps3 old memories😢
I was already 15 but used to listen a lot too

Where is the battle song, that epic duel ballad when Marek fights Vader?
All of the music from the final boss fights are from the films, not the TFU soundtrack.

They should make a movie or series about star killer
did Jesse Harlin contribute to the soundtrack?
Yes, Jesse Harlin wrote the main theme. Mark Griskey did everything else.
Which version of this game was your favorite? (Wii/PS2 or Xbox360/PS3)
