It feels like everyone always just listens to these huge TH-camrs no matter what, so I'm so glad that despite all the controversy and the hate on the pallete you still used it and fucking KILLED it!! I loved this look and you're truly inspiring. Keep doing what you're doing.
imani Boyd so because somebody else didn't like the palette they're not a real makeup artist such a dumbass thing to say people have different skin types different ways of application and I didn't even look at your page but I'm pretty sure your makeup is shit
This palette is tricky because it has shades opposite of the color wheel, rather than complimenting. If you blend the colors together that are opposite, it will make the shades grey looking. If you GENTLY touch your brush to the shade and then VERY GENTLY start blending the shadows, they do blend out quite beautifully. I enjoyed this look. TH-camr Atleeeey really did an amazing look with the Subculture palette. She is very artistic and paints, so I think she was really able to do a dramatic beautiful look that took this palette to where it needed to be. Your face looks beautiful. I love this pallet. You can’t overblend, use gradients, good brushes and these are pigments so you lightly tap your brushes in. You don’t stab them into the pigment. They are so soft and pigmented and you use a little at a time, to build up. I dared myself to buy this pallet, in the late side, for 60% off. I am not a makeup artist but oil paint so understand the color wheel. Anyway, I just watched a few how to videos by people who know what they are doing and success!!!!

the cover fx enhancer drops are actually for you to mix in to your foundation to give your whole face a natural glow. you can also use it as a hilighter but I find that with time it doesnt hold up and dries down less pigmented.

Yeah like the shadows are like pure pigment, it’s really the way you use it. Other mattes may be more fool proof to use but doesn’t have as much pigmentation. Though I think it should’ve been pressed the same as the MRP.
this palette came in the mail today and I had watched reviews for a good 2 weeks before I decided to go ahead and get it myself! haven't got to work with it on the eyes so I can't really speak that much I've done swatches of each General color on the eye but you're right! this is for editorial, artistic type looks..... it's not for beginners or people who like to go ham on blending..... also I think Norvina created this palette the way she wanted it because people scream for pigmentation! 😲they have it now!!! I had to adjust and learn how to use the Modern Renaissance as well a little bit so I love it so far!

i found these shadows blend easier and smoother with no base/ concealer
