  • The cruiser market represents the biggest chunk in the motorcycle market. The Japanese manufacturers have tried over the years to spice up things in this market. We’ve mare a comparison between two of the most wanted cruisers from Honda and Kawasaki. We rode them at night just to emphasize the aura o these bikes and the cult they’ve developed. Enjoy!

    I think that Rebel 500 vs Vulcan S would have been a much better and realistic comparison.

      They are direct concurrents indeed. The 1100 is a whole different beast

      @@dpboy8 Thanks. Unfortunately here in the Eastern Europe we can't buy brand new big engined Kawaski cruisers. Actually, in terms of Japanes big cruisers Honda is all we can buy.

    You can tour with anything…And, if you can’t tour with a 1100cc motorcycle WITH dct and cruise control with a windshield, what do you need to tour? A super heavy and large Harley? I like your reviews, that’s why I’m here commenting. Just my 2 cents. Keep it up! Thanks for the video.

    • @dorstefan

      People tour on anything with or without an engine.

    • @shirokazama
      @shirokazama 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dorstefan Yes but in this case we are looking at something with an engine. And here is a high cc motor showcased, together with a smaller. Totally not in the same category, but saying that the 1100cc motorcycle is not advised for touring was a bit of a miss. That was the only point of my comment. :)

      I think 1100 is best for touring because of those features, very relaxing ride

    I am really pleased with it!

    • @Censuwine
      @Censuwine ปีที่แล้ว

      So am I. I've had it for 6 years now and the only criticism I have is that it is incredibly uncomfortable. This is probably because the footpegs are set so far forward (even in the backwardmost position) that there is too much strain on your back. Other than that, I can't speak too highly of it.

    • @Ishbikes
      @Ishbikes ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Censuwine did you switch the seat?

    • @Censuwine
      @Censuwine ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ishbikes No. I've still got the stock seat. I tinkered with the suspension a bit and made it slightly more comfortable. I also bought a gel pad to strap onto the seat but again, the improvement is marginal. Perhaps I'm being unfair with the bike. I also ride a naked bike where the strain of road imperfections is shared better between back, thighs and calves. The forward controls on the Vulcan make this impossible. Take care!

  • @DaveDoingDaveThings
    @DaveDoingDaveThings 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    Hardly a fair comparison. A new Vulcan S would have ABS just like the rebel. You can get a large screen for the Vulcan and the standard rebel 1100 doesn't come with one anyway. The small fairing your man put on isn't a Kawasaki part so it's unfair to mark it down on that when the genuine kawi fairing does actually reduce some wind blast. It's unfair to compare riding positions when your man has put ill advised aftermarket handlebars on it.

    I am sorry but this entire video is a bunch of BS. The Vulcan has some cheap aftermarket shit on it, the Rebel is 1100cc and at some point you even say you wouldn't travel on a 500cc Cruiser bike with a DCT?. Mate, I have toured Europe on a 125cc Nmax, on a 5.0L car and on a 450SR-S CFmoto with 1, 6L tank bag. Like, if you can't tour on a 650 Vulcan then wtf you bought it for? To commute to the office and back to home?
    Nice video to pass the time, but 9/10 things said here are false.
