I was under the impression that the meteor was an AFV engine and never used in the aviation arena and most definitely never in a Hurricaine
I was just viewing what was on display! He mentioned about changes to the engine and rebrand so not overall sure =)
Thought the meteor was a tank engine and merlin was aero?
Yes. There was a story behind it that the gentleman explained as I got there. It was just rebranded to the plane but is the same
I have to disagree....to a degree 🙃The meteor wasn't simply a "rebranded" merlin but was a further significant development of the merlin to allow for its use in armoured fighting vehicles
