@ragnarI9130, this is the 3rd shot blasting set we have had, first one was just a pot and you filled it manually, 2nd was a pot with a pit and an elevator. and this is the 3rd setup taken us 48 years to get to this stage. lol who know what the future will hold full automatic system we can always dream. thanks for you comment.
Remember my time doing work experience at NC from Armagh Secondary School there used to be a punch press where they rolled the tanker barrels I was using the punch press punching holes in the plates for mounting things too that would be around 34 years ago really enjoy my time there
Really good videos, love the detailed information, big fan of NC products myself. Would like to see a detailed video on stuff like shear grabs and brushes too in the future
on a standard painted tanker the inside is left to oxidise with the slurry, options for the inside of tankers would be Galvanising or we have painted internals before if required.
Yess lad never hear tell of verticle welding???? Top trailing shoe bracket. Or myb its a necessary failure point instead of pullin a lump outa the back dome?
I’d add my vote for that video. Get the old lads on record before it’s too late! I’d also love to see the design/engineering/purchasing departments too.
I could listen to this sort of thing all day. Love the details about the axle and hitch spec.
Thanks Frank, plenty more in our other videos!
I am honestly relieved to hear that I am not the only one who wanted see a tanker being built.
would like to hear about history of nc and more about painting.
Will add this to the list of videos required. thank you.
Ur blasting set up is pure luxury hahaha, I blasted for over 10 years with zero recovery system,, I even had to shovel the pot full every time lol

Nice to see the high quality work and meeting individual build needs within regulation. I used to do bits around Whale Tankers a few years ago.
Thanks 🙌

on a standard painted tanker the inside is left to oxidise with the slurry, options for the inside of tankers would be Galvanising or we have painted internals before if required.
