The pug must have one hell of a xu10 under the bonnet! Normally the civics are faster in a straight-line but slower in the corners. Hes definitely got some work to do on his brakes
The Peugeot 306 Rallye, or Gti6, or 16, all used a 4cyl 2.0l that output approx 123kw depending on the model and year. I'd lean toward it being a Rallye, as the Gti6 had a 6 speed manual and as far as I know the Improved Production regs only allow a 5 speed. Unless of course they locked out the 6th gear, which sort of makes sense as you'd then effectively be left with a close ratio 5 speed - that might be why it can squeak ahead of the Civic down the straightsI Can't help you much more than that........
XU10J4RS from a GTI6. BE3/6 with a 4.7FD (no lock out, just don't use 6th.. the (standard) gear ratios are a real penalty at the tracks we race, and haven't committed to a dog box or custom ratios yet). I do have a BE3/5 which I might rebuild. Edit - can have 6spd boxes in IPRA.
Actually the bumper removal process was started with earlier contact before the contact which is shown, the hard defence just finished it off 😂 #weightreduction #gotspares
That Peugeot will be fine as long as they didn't use Peugeot's aftermarket pistons as they are complete crap as they start to cracking at 12.5 to 1 comp found that out the hard way.

No actually they are really quick and there is a lot of widely available, well engineered performance parts for them. They are a formidable enemy in an under 2L class like this. Jordans old EG always making us smile.

Great driving by both guys. But I have to say congrats to Callum Jemsen in the Peugeot for getting a non off the shelf car to go so well!
