    I have a 2023 Fat Boy 114, and my speedo has been off by 4 mph since I purchased it. I compensate when riding, but this morning, I finally thought there had to be a fix for adjusting the error. I came across this video during my first search. I already have a Power Vision so after watching the video and reading the comments, I am stoked to finally get the speedo dialed in. Thank you, BluesriderDF, for making this video. Easy to follow and done very well.

      Thanks so much! I'm very OCD so it drove me crazy that it wasn't accurate.

    Most helpful Harley tech video I've seen in a long time! I like the way this guy explains each step one at a time, and plainly shows the math you need to do to make this work. He also very clearly demonstrates how to hook up the unit to the bike and tells what buttons to push on which screen, in the correct order. I followed all of these simple steps and got my 2015 Road Glide Special dialed in to show exact speed (according to phone GPS) on the first try - incredible! The bike had always been off by 3.5 mph and now reads true.
    I figured out 60 mph divided by 56.5 mph =1.06. My VSS factory setting was 2153 just like his, so I did 2153 x 1.06 = 2282 and entered 2282 as my new VSS value. The speedo was a dead-on match with the phone GPS after that. I wish this guy had been my high school auto shop teacher...

      Thanks sooo much! My channel is small but I try hard to make useful videos. I love tinkering around and fixing things myself instead of paying the man!

    Wow! Thx! Just got a new LOW RIDER ST and it's 3 miles per hour slower than my speedo when comparing to GPS. This really helped. Don't want a record of riding more miles than I actually have ridden.

    quick question please. Can you just remove the unit (dynojet) after you program the ecu? I ask because i need to adjust my speedometer after i swapped the pulleys and installing a shorter tire. my speedometer is off by 12 mph now. Thanks for the video.

    • @bluesriderDF
      @bluesriderDF  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely. You can tune, calibrate, etc., the changes are written to the ECU, and the PV can be put back in the box. 12mph is way out, LOL. Thanks for watching!

      @@bluesriderDF I installed new pulleys and went from 32-66 to 30-70 and installed a shorter tire. The pulley upgrade was the biggest reason for the speedo being off so much. Now i just have to find someone near kentucky and rent/ borrow theirs to fix my speedo. Thanks for the reply and the video :)

      @@leemckinney7178 Unfortunately these tuners get paired to the bike, so you can only use it on the bike it's married to. (Although it's possible to buy one tuner device, and additional licenses for multiple bikes).
      They aren't cheap either.

    I always wish I had the power vision. I bought my bike with a power commander 5 and it works well bit it just doesn't have the adjustability of the power vision. Power vision is light years ahead of the PC5.

      I have a bike with a TTS Mastertune. It's a high end unit but I don't need all that. I'd rather it was a PowerVision. The PV is really nice.

    You better adjust it accurately or you will be putting more miles on your odometer than you actually are. trust me! Don't ask me how I know....
