They're laying on top of those boxes in the field looking out and thinking, "I never new life could be like this." You can tell those lions have been through it and see relief on their faces... God bless you all for your mission in rescuing circus animals.
Yes! I love the way Tarzan and Tanya look on top the boxes looking around, taking it in, relaxing on a sunny beautiful day, breathing in clean air and being free to be themselves! Such a beautiful sight indeed!

The world needs to ban circuses, stupid animal show, way too small zoos etc. I think i will not be alive when this happens, but i hope some day it will happen. Animals, regardless if they are for farming and food or wild, deserve respect!

In Africa rich people can even kill wild animals for big money. They specially breed them for these psychopaths... And then that guy that calls himself the lion whisperer... I almost had to vomit over his ugly head...

@@grigorirasputin7165 I do not agree to stop or ban zoos, or in any case not all zoos. Many zoos do rehabilitation. Many animals would be unable to survive in the wild, they have to be kept somewhere.
But all zoos with tiny enclosures, which do that for the money ... They must be closed and the managers before justice.

The bond that Tanya and Tarzan has is truly beautiful. How she looks after him and fought for him shows just how deep their bond really is. It is a wonderful thing to behold.
At the same time, it's sad how bad human women are. They are the complete opposite of that. While a man loves his woman. He would fight for her and look after her.

I've held baby lions, not even then do they feel like kittens, not floppy, very solid almost muscular. I was surprised.
They should have released those poor innocent lions into freedom. That would have been the REAL rescue and freedom for them they want and DESERVE !!

What you folks are doing for these circus animals is so heart warming. There is a special place in heaven for you and everyone involved.

Yeah, I know... It's downright awful and yes, I'd love it if there was another stable way to fund these institutions, but unless there's a radical change on a global scale, two statements will remain true:
1- There will always be a need for wildlife sanctuaries.
2- There'll be no shortage of immorally rich, irredeamable assholes creating a niche from which to suck funding.

I was in tears to see how people can be so cruel. I love animals and I am glad to see there are still good people out there. I watch these videos and it makes me love the Lion Whisperer even more. He treats his lions with love and gives them quality of life. I’m glad Tarzan and Tanya are now getting the life they always deserved 🦁❤️🦁❤️

I adore all species of animals and the all the flora its what makes this planet beautiful, not people.
The Lion Whisperer is certainly very special. To have the bond that he has with his brood is a wonderful thing. As he say's, he is not their owner but their guardian. We can never truly own an animal but we can be their protector and give them the best life that we can and all of the love we have. It is very amazing and special when you have an animal that bonds with you and I mean really bonds with you. Not just depending on you for a home and food.
When I was a kid, I walked pass a circus that had set up near my school. This circus still had animals as "performers".
The government had outlawed using them in such a manner. But the local authorities had given them a free pass because these animals were considered to be too old to end up at a zoo.
I walked up to a cage. And it was no bigger than a typical washing machine. Inside of it was a very old lion. Who was being mocked by other kids. And some were trying to get him to roar for them. But the lion just sat there. Probably hoping that that day would be his last.
I never forgot how cruel we humans can be with animals. And as I grew up, that feeling only grew stronger as I still see animals being killed for sport or to "cure" cancer (shark fins).

These two remind me of little kitties too. They are just huge kittens. I’m so happy and relieved that they are getting a new home. So many firsts for them. You’ve done such a great thing rescuing these beautiful and sweet creatures.
So glad they had a natural habitat sanctuary to live out their lives together. Poor lions had to live all those years in a cage. 🦁❤

Cannot appreciate enough.. The great souls behind this exercise, who spend endless hours, with documentations, permits, negotiating challenges, to have these beautiful animals transported to a much deserving environment , a mammoth task undertaken with the efforts of a group of animal welfare organizations. All is not lost, when humanity prevails.

That's a queen right there, fighting for her king when he's not feeling to well and cheering him up even when they were in such dark time, the last few shots of them sitting looked so majestically beautiful.
I agree. Tanya knew that fight with the tiger left Tarzan in pain and hurt and so she took it upon herself to do what is right and protect her king. I'm glad that both Tanya and Tarzan were rescued and given that chance to live a good life.

They made me cry and touched my soul! To finally be free, walk on grass beneath their feet, smell and feel the breeze on their face.! They were cruelty treated and denied comfort for a very,very long time. Bless the people and vets who made all this possible, you are angel's, you stopped the cruelty and made two suffering animals whole again, with comfort and the freedom that they were denied. So happy to see them at peace and enjoying their lives! Hurrah!

I've never rooted so hard for a couple in my life and I've only known these lions for 4 minutes 💖 their affection towards each other is beautiful.
I just saw another video, these people rescue a lot of lions, once they flew with 33 of them.

Now I know the reason why my parents would never let me visit a circus
I used to enjoy the circus as a kid, not anymore though. Although, I had went to the UniverSoul Circus earlier this year before the Coronavirus happened with my father because my nephew wanted to see people perform, it was pretty entertaining until I've witnessed a guy who brought out a Zebra and had a whip and started smacking the ground to make the Zebra run laps around the enclosure while he did tricks and appeared to be shouting at it, the Zebra looked absolutely terrified, ears pinned back, eyes wide. I honestly don't look forward going to a circus ever again. If there were no animals at the circus, except maybe dogs, then it'd be fine.

Cirque du soleil is probably the only circus is go to. All acrobats.

@@sulsur4151 That doesnt happen in the UK. We have laws over here. Zoo animals are well kept here. However, alot of other countries see animals are "things to own and make them money" so yes, that may well be the case. I have visited zoos in tbe UK and Germany and all animals were well looked after.
Its always good to see large cats being saved. But even more so to see them back in Africa. Bless all involved.

This is AMAZING. I HATE circus’s they hurt and damage animals physically and mentally. Thank u so so so so much for doing this for these animals. They look so happy now. There such a adorable couple. Again tysm for doing this i look up to people like you. 😊💙❤️

This is a lovely story. I watch a lot of Kevin Richardson vids and he has a warning for anyone donating to some organizations in South Africa and elsewhere. They "rescue and breed" these animals for canned hunting. They put the lions, tigers, whatever inside enclosures and "big white hunters" such as Little Donnie Douchbag can "hunt" the big animals for a huge fee. So do your research carefully before donating to organizations claiming to free animals.
They define the true meaning of majestic...
D Ross it is very sad that they hunt the animals on the sanctuaries, but all of that huge fee is then spent raising more animals and saving more animals. So as hard as it is to see them suffer, in some cases rich jerks paying to kill one is often better for the species as a whole.
So happy for them it's so horrible what they do to these animals it needs to be STOPPED! BANISH CIRCUSES FOREVER! I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THERE ARE THUMBS DOWN ON HERE? THEY MUST BE CRUEL PEOPLE !
So glad these two majestic creatures get a better life. It was terrible they were stuck in a tiny circus cage for 8 years.

As a person who battles from severe depression, it brings me hope and joy to see videos like this, and to know there are people who make it their life’s mission to rescue abused and cruelly neglected animals. @K C Animal rescuers always need help. Even posting or fostering if finances are unavailable.
Pursuing something you are passionate would do wonders for your depression, better than synthetic chemicals, because your natural chemicals will be activated by the joy it brings you.
Contact them or others to offer your time. You can also join groups online who have similar passion for animals as you do.

You could probably become involved in a rescue of domestic animals near to you. Perhaps foster a rescued cat or dog until they are prepared for adoption. Rescues are desperate for fosters.
True that!! So would I!! Sometimes I feel I've missed my calling..... run away and go help an organization to fight, document, and safely remove animals from horrific situations, heal them, then relocate and watch the transformation with wonder and awe.... and LOVE ❤️ ❤️
Any type of caring for animals that need help will be a game changer for you. My cousin was transformed by her daughter buying a puppy, it gave her unconditional love and that was the key...the thanks and satisfaction.
