It’s just alternating between segments of a simple jazz progression and Djenting the same progression in half time by playing 0s on the downbeats and playing metal riffs and chords instead of jazz riffs and chords in the space that’s left.
Well I think it would be fun to analyse this using theory but I can imagine they wouldn't have necessarily written it with theory itself - music theory in my opinion should be treated like a scientific theory, where observations are made and that's how the theory develops - not having the theory first, then making music through it…but yeah nah I love this video 😂

Its really hard to comprehend how much of a musical masterpiece this truly is. In an unironic sense. Like honestly alot of music theory behind this.
