I def wanna get my hands on one of those monitors at some point I love the Series S even with me owning a good gaming PC. this thing is a beast for the price. Anyone considering buying one... I highly suggest getting gamepass too. that's basically what I use it as, a gamepass machine.
I wondered how it looked but sadly the only Gsync screen i have does not have HDMI only Display port. It was the original Gsync 27 inch Gaming screen from Asus. The next model had HDMI as well.

The XSS is a killer system for the price. It loads up games faster than my $3K labtop with a 12th gen i9 32gb DDR5 3080Ti. The graphics are nice enough and it's a steady 60fps or 120fps on some games. I have an XSX as well and find myself playing on my XSS more since I have a portable monitor attached to it and at times my xScreen too. It's a powerful monster without all the sound of a PC. I want to turn mine into an emulation machine too like this video but I haven't found the time just yet.
Why the 1080 version? You can buy the 4k version and flip it into 1440 than bam your gaming In 2k buuuuuuuuuuuut the price sucks I'm lucky I got it on sale I got the 4k for 160 and it was unopened unit
I’m still enjoying it! I feel like you’d only notice ghosting if you recorded it with a camera and slowed things down but in the real life experience it’s pretty solid to me! Nothing that would rival the experience of a dedicated gaming monitor but for what it is a portable gaming monitor I believe that it delivers.
My freesync QN85A Samsung runs 4K (upscaling) @ 120hz with Series S. It is GREAT. I have Series X as well which is the BEST console PERIOD. IMO Series S is as good as PS5
It will work. The Xbox is meant to push out 5volts/amps or whatever, enough for the monitor. However if you put the volume on the speakers above 50 the monitor will cut off.
For the price with the screen could of got a Xbox series X i have one and love it but the series S is nice to the only thing i don’t like is having no disc drive

G-Sync doesn't do anything on Xbox. It's a setting exclusive to PC, specifically Nvidia cards. You need to look more into things before spreading misinformation.

@@shortair84 I just got an xScreen recently as it was on sale. The back of the screen is hard to me man. They might of improved since they first launched it as I've seen some video of the flex though. I like mine for the most part though. Just kinda wish the screen was bigger but I do have a portable 15.6" 1440p 144Hz monitor if I need it. I kinda wish the xScreen would at least do 1080p 120Hz though. That would've been nice for the price that they are asking for. I wouldn't of gotten it for regular price though so the on sale price was good enough for me for basically an exclusive product even though technically you could hook up the screen to something else with the proper adaptors.
@@volcalstone true you might be right. They may have come out with a more supportive back side to the monitor. I have the g story. And mine works well so far. Still have to be careful with the top period. It's not like it's a table lol or anything. But I agree 120hz at 1080p would of been nice. But at this size it's still great.

I was thinking of getting myself a G-story XSS screen too but I really wanted the 15.6" 1440p 165Hz screen but it was out of stock. It was pricer though at over $350+. It would've made the whole setup bulkier as well. I like how much cleaner the xScreen was and it still kept it portable at the same time.

The Series controller is also slightly lighter and smaller.
They changed the controller from being micro USB to Usbc type 2 (type c)

Can this screen run at 120 fps on halo multiplayer ? I’ve seen another g story review and it showed 119 fps. I didn’t think it was possible.

I dont recommend powering the monitor with the usb port on your xbox because it might fry the xbox.
What? That's how it's designed to work, you can't "fry" it by drawing power from the USB ports.
