Great idea and very cost-effective! No zipper is needed but of course, one could be added if one is available in the in the stash. Thanks for another super video!
Well, I'm impressed! I'd have been nervous sewing this even the day before. What a cute garment bag - your clothes will arrive perfectly clean and unwrinkled. Would a couple of "dots" of Velcro at the opening keep it from opening when draped in the back seat or the trunk of a car? The real key to all this is your deep knowledge and experience with all things related to garment construction and pattern drafting. The last shot looked like The Paseo, so enjoy your trip and be glad you're not headed to Dallas for the game. Cheers from Norman!
I thought about adding velcro. I always worry about the hook side snagging my delicate fabric, but it will be perfect for my hubby's shirts. I hope you had a great trip to Dallas. I can't count the times we ran up and down I-35 to Dallas.
"Oh gee. I need to travel in 2 hours. I need a garment bag. I have fabric. No problem." This is a really great project. I need to make a couple of these. Also, every time you go into "chipmunk voice" I crack up.
😂 I'm a fast talker anyway so always just a step away from chipmunk mode. This size would be perfect to pack the crawdad Brad shirt in for your next talk. I am thinking this might be a stocking stuffer for a few family members. So easy!

Thank you! I'm hunting the stash so I can make a few more. I do want a few with zippers too.
Very cute
Thank you! 😊

Would home dec fabric be a good choice for this project?
Yes, definitely. I was thinking about using a duck canvas for the next one I make. But interior fabric would be a better because it is pretty too!
