Hey Greg, just went to watch the video and for some reason, it's like a good minute or so of the intro video footage got chopped which puts it way ahead of the audio - can see the iCue pelican case get opened at 0:22 but hear it opened all the way 1:46
For the people that have the video working just fine just know that for some of us there's about a minute to 2 minute delay between the audio and video.... (for example here on my end he's talking about removing the storage drives at 5:41 , that action is occurring at 4:17 for me) so yeah, its pretty confusing...
The fact that nothing matched and everything worked should at least be celebrated! Industry standards instead of walled off gardens of incompatibility like a dell system or Apple is an amazing thing that should be continued. That being said I appreciate it was a massive sponsorship from corsair and the build did look sweet when you were done. The viewer wins, the channel wins, I am just glad the original pc could exist and function.
When building or upgrading PCs it has never once been an issue to get "matching" components (apart from the obvious CPU/platform type and RAM). I am surprised anyone would think it matters.
@@reggiedixon2 I agree, using different brands is not a big deal you could have a ASUS motherboard, AMD cpu, corsair DDR, Nvidia GPU, Master Cooler AIO, Noctua fans, EVGA PSU, and an NZXT case... Who cares...
Just bought a used Lian Li Liancool ii Mesh Performance from a local guy who had recently moved to a mATX form factor. It was a local site auction and I snagged it for a whopping $39. Case is without a scratch...the original owner barely used it! Impressed with the materials and smart design of this case. Dual tempered glass hinged side panels, with hinged lower doors, both left and right. Plenty of air flow with dual 140's and 1x 120. I moved the 120 to the lower front position, for flow over the storage rack, then brought in an RGB 120 for the rear exhaust. The right side tempered glass does not reveal cables because the unit also comes with metal shrouds to cover all cable runs. Looks very neat, with minimal cable management needed.

Then got a used 512G SSD to replace the spinning platter drive for helping a friend out. Went with that for a while while stockpiling parts, mostly from friends who I helped "upgrade" their stuff and didn't care about the old parts any more. A Ryzen5 2600 here, some DDR4 from there, an old 1060 graphics card... pretty soon I had almost everything I needed for my current rig, only shelling out $70 for a new AMD-compatible Gigabyte DS3H motherboard (ALL ROADS LEAD TO DS3H WHEN YOU ARE ON A BUDGET!) and $20 for a new/used case and some fans. Minus the sale of the old parts I have roughly ZERO DOLLARS in this rig. If I wanted fan/RGB bling I could drop some coin on it (even at Corsair's prices!) and still be way ahead money-wise now.

I don't usually like the GPU like that but it actually looks really good in this build because of the colors. This is the first time I've ever seen those fans, I need to get some eventually I have 9 fans in my gaming PC and the side panel barely shuts.
PC Function for price first Brand second.. I user Signal RGB to sync lights from all my brands. One Brand might excell at RAM but not MB or GPU etc. Oh yes NZXT AIO :) But You did a great job and I will be looking at iCUE in a few years when its new build time.
Nice rebuild. I have the 7000D case and I decided to rebuild my computer for the first time in like 6 or 7 years. There was soo much room it was a pleasure to build in. I went with an EATX MB (MSI MEG ACE) but still had lots of room, however my cable management in the back is still not great as I rebuilt mine right before all these new fans etc.. came out and it would cost me too much to switch now. I will say though with this case (mine) it made the cable management form the front look fantastic and was the cleanest build I have ever done. On which is a bummer as I had pretty much an unlimited budget. One weird thing I ran into was the 7000D comes with the fan hub like the 5000D and 3 fans, 2 front one rear and I used that hub, but my commander pro that came with my Corsair AIO sees all the fans that came with the case as all one fan, so I'm thinking of ditching it but I think I only have 2 more slots on the commander as I added one more front fan and one more side fan for a total of 8 fans (oh I also went the non RGB route). How can you and can you, connect two commander pro's together? If so I might try that. Right now besides that everything is working great so not sure I want to go poking inside again, but maybe.
I knew there was a sponsor build coming when Greg was going on and on about how important it is to bring a build together with an all matching brand lolol

Well, as long as build on Corsair parts looks amazing then I need to say that... there was no reason to swap the motherboard if you mount the graphic card vertically. Nevertheless it's looks really great. Great job, Greg. :)
well this is new. from the sponsor on the audio is wrong. its like it was moved form its original spot but the audio wasn't updated. the subtitles are still right. 2 hours later and the subs are now the same as the audio. strange.
Like I said in the video, _of course_ it doesn't matter for performance. But it can be easier to build a clean rig with components that fall under the same ecosystem. Don't read so far into that hahah.
When you actually understand how each of the components functions down to its very basic level, pairing components that were very likely tested together in development will always give you the best stability and best performance 💯
Damn That cable management was so easy! Great look from Corsair AIO & fans. Unfortunately we haven't got the new line of products down under as yet.... We always seem to be behind.
Bro.. you just unscrewed the oil cap and drove a new system under it and screwed it back on, lol. Those RGB fans are amazing but way out of reach for the average consumer $$$$$
Did you get it to post at 4000mhz? Was it stable? Cool what you did but from my experiences 3200mhz DDR4 on a 1st gen Ryzen is about as high as you can get. I hope you found a stable clock and saved a profile for him. Manual memory OC Can be tricky for a novice user.
I'm curious why you put the fans in the side instead of the front as a direct intake. The fans on the side would be facing the back panel. I have this case and yes I know there is a small vent on the back for airflow but nothing close to what the front panel would offer. Was it to show off the back of the corsair fans?
Very tempted to update my current Corsair fan setup to these new ones .. only pro I can see is cable management .. on the fence. Have to see what the rrp is when these release. Great video to show the new features of these 👍🏻
Nice work in fact the fe did the final touch. The product they nailed. No questions there. And that, cause the tech and quality of the parts has a tag. I do love it
Greg has convinced me to switch to the iCUE fan system, but would the magnet from the fan hub somehow mess with the components of the mobo if it was mounted right behind it?

Very nicely done, very appropriate! I think those ecosystem by Corsair really made the biggest difference!!
well this is new. from the sponsor on the audio is wrong. its like it was moved form its original spot but the audio wasn't updated. the subtitles are still right. 2 hours later and the subs are now the same as the audio. strange.
$50 per fan, come on Corsair. 😕
Have a goodnight and be safe thank you again for the knowledge so I can expand it and hopefully teach you some new things.
Who cares that the manufacturers are different? I build for bang for buck, not theme or aesthetics......I don't even like clear side panels.
@@jakehutchens yeah maybe if icue wasnt a piece of shit software
Video is way longer than the audio itself some editing error on the video.
Damn That cable management was so easy! Great look from Corsair AIO & fans. Unfortunately we haven't got the new line of products down under as yet.... We always seem to be behind.
Good to know that you like football, and nice taste by the way. ;)
España salute you!
Sorry but was there something wrong with the audio?.all the hand waving and over dub made this one of your worst video you have posted.
damn thats a nice free upgrade and it leaves plenty of options for future upgrades... i love the new Corsair fans but they are so expensive
Really like this style video. Very satisfying. Hope you can do more.
I personally love Corsair I got a Corsair power supply, fans, case, icue 360 ml aio and I use icue ecosystem it's so nice
Hey greg, feels something wrong in this video. The audio is way too delayed and the AD sponsor wasn't in a clip
I dunno if it's just me but the audio is no where close to the rest of the video. It's completely off.
Does that vertical mount bracket fit in a Corsair 4000D Airflow too?
Wow! That was a sweet makeover! I'm inspired now. Might just be an upcoming weekend project.
Bro.. you just unscrewed the oil cap and drove a new system under it and screwed it back on, lol. Those RGB fans are amazing but way out of reach for the average consumer $$$$$
If you think the same CPU and GPU amount to an "oil cap" then sure...
I was thinking the same thing. “Can that 1700 really do 4000?” lol
What is the vertical GPU Mount that was used in this build I have a 5000d Air flow and I can not seem to find one
I'm curious why you put the fans in the side instead of the front as a direct intake. The fans on the side would be facing the back panel. I have this case and yes I know there is a small vent on the back for airflow but nothing close to what the front panel would offer. Was it to show off the back of the corsair fans?
That an itx in a BIG atx case!

looks like audio sections are edited into wrong video sections
AWESOME Man! Just Flat Out AMAZING!
Just wondering if you ca re upload with the video/sound synced its out of wack by about 30sec
Glad to see you with the Spain team t-shirt! Really cool!
Very tempted to update my current Corsair fan setup to these new ones .. only pro I can see is cable management .. on the fence. Have to see what the rrp is when these release. Great video to show the new features of these 👍🏻
why is the timing so off with the clips?
Wow that was an INSANE transformation. My man needs to grab himself a 5800x3D to top that beautiful system overhaul off.
That's exactly what I was thinking, grabbing a 5800x3d and possibly a 6950xt (reference vertical mounted would be amazing) would make a lot of sense.
Nice work in fact the fe did the final touch. The product they nailed. No questions there. And that, cause the tech and quality of the parts has a tag. I do love it
Please reupload this video again Greg, the audio and video are out of sync throughout all the video.
Greg has convinced me to switch to the iCUE fan system, but would the magnet from the fan hub somehow mess with the components of the mobo if it was mounted right behind it?
Did it boot with xmp enabled? will the B550 motherboard + 1700 be compatible with 4000Mhz RAM? My friend is having boot issues with his new CPU. B450M Asrock mobo was previously using 3400 then he upgraded his CPU to 5600x. All the rest of his components are the same, however system does not boot when he loaded XMP with his memory. Mobo bios and chipset drivers are updated to latest non-beta drivers available.
Is your buddy running 4 sticks?
I used to have issues with 64gb of Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3600 with DOCP alongside my R7 5800X and an Asus Crosshair Hero VIII. After nearly tearing my hair out for 3 months I found that even my X570 chipset hates having more than 2 sticks of RAM at speeds over 3200mhz.
@@1337bG01 He's running 2 sticks of corsair vengeance pro rgb. not sure whats the rated speed and latency, but he says it was booting with xmp on when he was still using his 3400
I think something very weird happened with the audio(or the video), the audio for the sponsor spot is AFTER the sponsor video and the rest is all messed up after that, the heck happened here?
I agree with Greg! Please come back Kyle! Great video Greg! Owner looked stoked.
The end result is beautiful. Great work as always
Thank you! Cheers!
That build looks awesome! Nice and clean!
Is the audio completely off for anyone else?
Why does the 1700 cpu work on the b550? b550s don't natively support ryzen 1000 series cpus per amd's spec and the cpu isn't even on the support list for that board
backwards compatability on some early versions
Hey Greg a quick question. A friend of mine haves a computer with i5 3430 or something like this third generation, 16 GB ram gskil Ares 1600 mhz DDR3 and the motherboard is a asus p8h61-m lx2 gpu is a and Rx 570 8 GB and for some unknown reason when he is playing games after 2 hours or so the amd adrenaline crashes with timeout error report and the game crashes. Where what to check to find the problem? Please if you have any suggestions.
Is it just me or is the audio really messed up in the beginning?
my brain was going crazy with the desync in audio and video. Overall the build looks amazing.
It's good that there is progress, these are already achievements of electronics, they work in Corsair
I’m currently saving for the Corsair Link. Very cool hardware.
Good video, Greg. Definitely my dream rig. Expand your videos to Brazil! :D Big hug!!
how did you get the 1700 to work with the b550 board? it's not supported and I've seen many cases of 1st gen ryzen not working on 500 chipsets
There are certain B550 boards with BIOS revisions that still support Zen 1.
@@GregSalazar ah that's great to know, thanks for the quick response!
