The reason the Koopalings had different names in the cartoon is because Nintendo of America hadn't come up with names for them yet. They were unnamed in the Japanese version until Japan adopted their American names.
"Most psychotic video game villain of all time." I could name many villains far crazier than Bowser. Even Mario villains like Fawful and Dimentio.

With all due respect, bowser and Baby bowser are literally the same person. Even dry bowser. Wouldn't it be less confusing and more lore accurate to put them in the same spot?

Easy head canon: Bowser’s Brother is often Dry Bowser when the original Bowser is busy (New Super Mario Bros 2, Island Tour, Paper Jam, etc.) and is the father of the koopalings which Bowser now takes care of. Bowser’s brother might even be named Morton, explaining Jr in Morton Koopa Jr. As to where the Bowser species kids (koopalings and Bowser jr) they might have just simply been made in a cauldron and were made with their DNA in the mix (think of how The PowerPuff Girls handled that with the titular characters and their rivals the RowdyRuff Boys). These could literally be the canon reasons for the Mario Movie universe in the sequel (a trilogy is confirmed by Bowser’s French voice actor).

So Claudette koopa is The biological mother of Bowser Jr. And The biological Aunt to the koopalings. Who is Bowser's Sweet wife. And sister-in-law of Bowser's brother. Etc.
My HC is that each of the koopalings are betrothed to Bowser Junior, but they have to compete for Jr's hand in marriage with Ludwig currently taking the lead. The koopaling that proves to be the best warrior will become Bowser Junior's consort while the others are demoted to concubines.
Honestly, you should probably do Minecraft Story mode characters good to evil, or which one of them would survive the squid games! The characters have so much charm and personality that it should be done.

Well… I think Bowser’s brother is actually Morton Koopa and he has a son named Morton Jr. I don’t know if that is true but his brother’s wife skin is just like Morton Jr. That’s just a theory in my opinion.

Hope Nintendo brings back Bowser brother. Would be really interesting, however its not likely to happen since it only appeared in the original version of SMBTLL that never was released outside of Japan.
By the way the Koopa Kids in Mario Party appeared because in the Eternal Star map you were suppose to challenge the Koopalings (at the time theie childern) but were scrapped in favor of Koopa Kids to save space and modelling.
