    Great video Dr. Miyazaki. I agree with your video regarding personal and professional branding. Marketing in a corporate environment can be very political. Although you need to be knowledgeable, more importantly you need to have built a strong professional and personal brand. Being a team player, courteous, patient and always having a positive vibe are essential towards preventing a malignant workspace. Out of personal experience, I can say that as a young doctor my willingness to work, learn, grow, and succeed is so strong that it got around to the Program Director where I performed my clinicals. This word of mouth alone got me an interview to be a General Surgeon Resident at Cleveland Clinic. Personal and professional branding is very important to me as an individual. The energy in which you work with patients, the tone of your voice, and even a smile makes a world of difference. It is this positive attitude that creates a great relationship with your customers, and what will always make them come back. The way a person carries themselves (in and out of work) will be how they represent their industry and will set the tone towards the overall pace. Brand yourself to be a positive, confident, and always have a great attitude and you can’t go wrong.

      Couldn't agree more, knowledge and professionalism are essential, you seem really intelligent, I think we should collaborate and connect to share ideas. We also have a TH-cam channel all about branding and business, feel free to check it out if you get a spare sec. Have a great day, Scott

    Personal branding should be a good practice for parents on their kids while growing them up.That is, after identifying what they are good at, start creating a brand for them right away.This will give them a successful career..

      I think you should _assist_ your kids in finding themselves, not _do it for them._ Otherwise you might impose your own desires on them.

    So, It is 2021, I am basically form Pakistan and I am currently living in Germany. I am very much tensed about not finding a job and passion related to the Software Development. This video has provided me great insights on how to present myself on various platforms including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. It's been a long time since I have commented on any posts or shared my views on LinkedIn. I guess due to this reason I am falling behind. I should really keep posting meaningful and effective comments for the people that will show my insights and something that will surly excite them and things they will look to hear more from me.
    I would also like to thank to all Alumni of Stanford as they provide excellent experience points and things that we would have learned from a bad experience. I would also suggest Stanford Alumni to make new videos regarding to the Jobs, Career and Personal Branding. These videos will surly help in this difficult time of the CORONA.
    Glad to Be Here, to Witness this great video.

    Too many people focus on their career and not their finances. Good investing, saving, resourcefulness, and strategizing will be far more powerful than trying to work your way up the latter. Career advancement is good, however, you work to make money and money is the ultimate goal. To simply give your money away after promotion by spending more money or buying a luxury car is a complete waste of money. This is what most people end up doing. The more money they make, the more money they spend and the more status they look to get. Fuck status, I want money.

    I found some very good ideas for building your personal branding that I've never heard before the only thing towards the end it started to move away from the subject of personal branding into social medial marketing which you can find hundreds of videos on this.

    • @Shystichu
      @Shystichu 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Social Media Marketing is needed for one's brand...

    • @GofelipeGraphicDesign
      @GofelipeGraphicDesign 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Dreighen yes I'm aware of this but branding and marketing are two different things

    • @sandortoledo7938
      @sandortoledo7938 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Although different i believe the definition is just applied to when the marketing is done on the self. I think some people do a disservice to themselves through their social media as they combine their personal and business life together. When those lines cross, most people are branded professionally by the way they conduct themselves privately.
