If you plan on doing the Dark Brotherhood quest line but are generally reluctant to kill people not related to that quest line, wait until you get the Ebony Blade AND a reanimation staff and then go kill Narfi BEFORE getting his associated Contract quest. Make sure you do his quest searching for his sister or give him a Septim to befriend him before killing him. Then kill him with the Ebony Blade, revive him with the staff (if you use reanimation spells instead of the staff, his corpse will disintegrate), kill the reanimated corpse with the Ebony Blade, and just repeat the process over and over until the Ebony Blade is maxed. Besides Narfi, you could do this with any non-essential NPC you don't particularly like but can still befriend. Silent Moons enchantment has a weird bug. It slows things with higher attack speeds (Like Dual Flurry) to crazy levels. Smack a forsworn that is using two swords and it gets comical

Fun fact: you don't have to kill any followers or befreinded NPCs to max level the Ebony blade, you can become a freind to the strongholds then slaughter like three or four, and seeing as some of the Orc strongholds are painfully generic I don't think most people will care about slaughtering a few
Morrowind had the best uniques Hard to find and get as well I used to spend hours levitating around inside daedric ruins, checking around the ceiling for nooks that almost always had an interesting item That was such a great game. I'd love to see a proper remaster done, keeping all the same items, same old spell crafting+skill system but overhauling combat away from a dice-roll.
no way you put bloodskaal blade in s tier solely because it creates energy blades from power attacks, that don't do much damage, but put soulrender and bloodscythe in a tier
Dawnbreaker can also be duel wielded if you use a duplication glitch on it, giving you two very powerful undead slaying swords. And Auriel's Bow is always enjoyable to use. So many undead in Skyrim that any weapon that specializes in killing them make them much more valuable than most other weapons in the game.
Got a bone to pick about Volendrung. Should be at least A tier. The 50 Points of stamina every hit is no joke. Nearly endless power attacks? Sprintlock an enemy and spam the sprint power attack with a fully charged Volendrung and you'll melt nearly anything.
10:00 the crutch of this weapon can be circumvented by using the Dead Thrall spell on any one follower. If I'm not mistaken, you can do this with any fallen enemy to achieve the same effect as killing a follower.
@@M4x_P0w3r About frost. DPS goes only from 130 to 115 in enemies that resist frost. About elemental fury. Yes, the longhammer is the best two handed weapon because of elemental fury, but elemental fury is a addon. If addons can be used, a simple weapon in the off hand makes chillrend do x1.5 damage, x1.35 speed(dual fury) + the damage of the other weapons, making the DPS go to 263(232 with resistence to frost) + Second weapon DPS Two Handed suck end game, a perfect character (All skills and perk) can always have a higher DPS with a with a single one handed weapon than a two handed one, and almost double fps with two one handed weapons.
Pretty spot on across the board. Any chance of a tier list for Anniversary Edition weapons, i.e. the ones that got baked into the game from the older/discontinued Creation Club? Umbra is my personal favorite from that collection.
Volendrung has absolutely carried me through some difficult playthroughs, Being able to spam power attacks is really powerful, especially if you use the "Ordinator perk overhaul" and spec into warhammers. This was before I discovered the vegetable soup trick for infinite power attacks. Still my favourite weapon.
6:02 Being a vampire isn't that bad. If you're only traveling at nighttime the sun won't be an issue and on top of that vampirism can even boost all of your your enchantments by at least twenty percent if you have the necromage perk.
In one of my playthroughs i played an assassin build with Valdr's and Mehrunes in each hand with Nightingale and Shrouded set parts and it was amazing , one of the most fun playthroughts i've played, yes that wepon is a hiden gem in fact , should be in B tier IMO and in certain builds like i said even A tier, like you said this wepon performs best in the off-hand.
Ranged - Auriel's Bow (combat archer), Nightingale Bow (stealth archer) Two Handed - Ebony Blade, Champion's Cudgel One Handed - Nightingale Blade and Chillrend Dagger - Blade of Woe Since I play without enchanting smithing and alchemy, I usualy use unique weapons, and when ever I start a new playthrough, there is a high chance I will use one of these.
HUGE tip for Ebony Blade: since nobody likes Cosnach (the follower), you can make him your follower, kill him, then keep using the Staff of Worms to bring him back so you can get all the kills to fully charge the blade. Also once charged, the blade never loses the charge
There is a way to fully charge the Ebony Blade with a single life. Find a follower that you like the least (I recommend one of the mercs you can get from any of the inns) and lead them somewhere secluded. Kill them to gain a charge and the turn them into undead to kill them again which will give another charge. Normally corpses turn into ash when you make them undead except in one case, the Ritual Stone. Wait 24 hours > use ritual power > kill > repeat. Make sure to save before killing each time as doing the kill animation that decapitates the target makes them no longer resurrectable.
I really like Zephyr, the bow you can get in Arkngthamz that belonged to the tragic ghost of Katria in the "Lost for the Ages" quest. It's speed is equal to Auriel's bow and doesn't require recharging. It's also a permanent weapon, so it won't disappear even if placed in a respawning container. I liked Katria and having a memento of her around is nice. The bow can be acquired before you even enter the Dawnguard DLC. Good to get early in the game and acquired early in a nice questline. It appears to be a Dwarven Bow and can be improved with that Smithing perk. While it looks Dwarven, it has damage equal to an Elven bow and its speed makes it a valuable weapon for any Archer based character. It's lighter than Auriel's Bow too.
Was the Nightingale bow mentioned? I didn’t catch it But honestly, it’s at minimum an A tier for me regardless. Between just loving the Thieve’s Guild storyline & the bow working well for me, my only problem is how much recharging it needs
lunar weapons deserve to be higher. its really easy to just hit wait until nighttime, and it can do way more damage than a simple fire enchantment, as well as have more charges than a simple fire enchantment.
One thing I realised is that all these unique weapons are really good for early to mid game. In late game, using proper high level enchantments on even a wooden sword will outperform even the best of these uniques. Similarly I advise new players to lay off leveling up their enchantment until latter on if you want a diverse gameplay experience.
bro i used to duel wield the Lucky Dagger and Merus Razor, having a weapon that has a chance to insta kill alongside a weapon that staggers enemies is extremely op!
I would consider Valdr's Lucky Dagger one of the best weapons in the game for dual wielding. The critical hit staggers opponents and can be used with Elemental Fury when equipped in the left hand, leaving the right hand for your OP Enchanted weapon of choice. Especially early game, this weapon cuts the mustard.
10:14 The ebony blade has a few variants that you can get randomly, and one of them makes enemies not count attacks from the ebony blade as an assault, meaning you won’t get fined for killing someone with it.
I got Ghostblade early one run, and it spoiled me on ultralightweight weapons so much that from then on I've beelined to the bound weapons. I might not use it much but it had a big impact on many hours of playtime since then.
I like to fast track learning both Smithing and Enchanting. Once I have both maxed out, I create a dragonbone dagger, sword, and bow. I enchant each with two of the following: Frostfeed, Fire, Shocking and Chaos. I use the Ebony Blade, improved at a grinding wheel for my two-hander. Pick a fight with my character and you'll die... very quickly.
If you use the ritual stone to resurrect the follower you kill to upgrade the Ebony Blade, and then wait 24 hours to do it again, you dont have to kill 10 different people. You can just kill one follower the entire time.
I go Ebony Blade every playthrough, just hire a random mercenary, than get that Stone that let's you revive every dead body around you once per day and the revived don't disappear so you just kill the mercenary, revive, kill, wait 24h, revive, kill, wait, revive, kill.

Just make sure whatever reanimation staff you use is not too weak to reanimate that particular NPC.
I see two types of weapons here.
1. Weapons that are absolutely worth going after and using.
2. Collectables and aesthetics for your home.
Where dose the poachers axe fall in this then
@@NoahVercetti If you are playing as a hunter style character, then 1, if not, then 2.
i never imagine that i gonna sub someone who make skyrim content in 2024. u change it.
Nettlebane should do extreme damage to all Spriggans, Wood Elves, Werebeasts, and animals imo. They should've literally made it the bane of all things tied to nature in general.
Silent Moons enchantment has a weird bug. It slows things with higher attack speeds (Like Dual Flurry) to crazy levels. Smack a forsworn that is using two swords and it gets comical
Valdurs lucky dagger dual weilded with Mehrunes Dagger is deadly.
"Olar's boathblade" lol, love the channel man, got me back into the game I've always loved
I laughed so hard
I was expecting you to skimp on the Longhammer but you didn't. It's just the thing for an orc playthrough.
What about nerveshatter? I recently came across that spikey hammer and it’s super cool. Maybe not amazing but it looks awesome and it has some good enchants.
Excellent ranking guide, i enjoyed it very much
Whats even better is that windshear is a weapon that doesn't even need soul gems! I always get it around level 25 and keep it throughout the entire play through
Poacher's Axe can be improved by blacksmithing, unlike most unique weapons.
S tier it is then
I discovered this channel yesterday and I;ve become addicted. This is probably my 30th video already
I have a feeling it's an AI youtuber though, the voice sounds so similar to other ones.
They steal a ton of footage and allegedly plagiarize quite often lol
@@Kier4n99 Yeah yeah yeah, I had the slight impression that something is familliar, and it seems to me this AI youtuber plagiarized the videos of TheEpicNate315 which I used to watch 3-5 years ago and very much enjoyed. Daaamn son!
Fun fact: you don't have to kill any followers or befreinded NPCs to max level the Ebony blade, you can become a freind to the strongholds then slaughter like three or four, and seeing as some of the Orc strongholds are painfully generic I don't think most people will care about slaughtering a few
Anakin would love ebony blade
Morrowind had the best uniques
Hard to find and get as well
I used to spend hours levitating around inside daedric ruins, checking around the ceiling for nooks that almost always had an interesting item
That was such a great game. I'd love to see a proper remaster done, keeping all the same items, same old spell crafting+skill system but overhauling combat away from a dice-roll.
16:36 GETSUGA TENSHOO
real
I always thinked that when i see bloodskal blade @@Icouldntcomeupwithaname1212
@@Pitboof i thot it was cool but now its cooler
no way you put bloodskaal blade in s tier solely because it creates energy blades from power attacks, that don't do much damage, but put soulrender and bloodscythe in a tier
Ikr 😂
Dawnbreaker can also be duel wielded if you use a duplication glitch on it, giving you two very powerful undead slaying swords.
And Auriel's Bow is always enjoyable to use. So many undead in Skyrim that any weapon that specializes in killing them make them much more valuable than most other weapons in the game.
Stumbled upon your vid on accident stayed for the voice and humor subbed
Got a bone to pick about Volendrung. Should be at least A tier. The 50 Points of stamina every hit is no joke. Nearly endless power attacks? Sprintlock an enemy and spam the sprint power attack with a fully charged Volendrung and you'll melt nearly anything.
Bloodskal is such an amazing weapon. You can throw an enchantment on it and temper it. Solid weapon.
no further enchantment possible.
10:00 the crutch of this weapon can be circumvented by using the Dead Thrall spell on any one follower. If I'm not mistaken, you can do this with any fallen enemy to achieve the same effect as killing a follower.
This is perfect keep it up
You're the most underrated Skyrim channel on youtube
Casually dropping the only one of these I never heard of in 13 years (woodsman's friend) in d tier.
Chillrend is the higgest DPS Unique Weapon
Base DPS: 15+30(Frost) = 45
Legendary Quality + 100 One handed + Armsman (5): 100+30(Frost) = 130
The Longhammer for comparation
Base DPS: 21*0.8(Speed) = 16.8
Legendary Quality + 100 Two handed + Barbarian (5): 107.2*0.8(Speed) = 85.76
But elemental fury doesnt work on Chillrend and many skyrim enemies resist frost
@@M4x_P0w3r About frost. DPS goes only from 130 to 115 in enemies that resist frost.
About elemental fury. Yes, the longhammer is the best two handed weapon because of elemental fury, but elemental fury is a addon. If addons can be used, a simple weapon in the off hand makes chillrend do x1.5 damage, x1.35 speed(dual fury) + the damage of the other weapons, making the DPS go to 263(232 with resistence to frost) + Second weapon DPS
Two Handed suck end game, a perfect character (All skills and perk) can always have a higher DPS with a with a single one handed weapon than a two handed one, and almost double fps with two one handed weapons.
Nightingale blade and Dawnbreaker is my fave dual wield combo, they look similar in shape so they fit so well together and they're great weapons
Unless you are playing survival where you inexplicably freeze despite being immune to cold
@@firenze6478Survival sucks anyway so this wont be a problem i will ever encounter.
the rueful axe is one of the best display weapons in all of vanilla skyrim surely that has to count for something
love the videos, would you do some about oblivion or morrowind as well?
Mace of Molag Baal and Auriels Bow were 2 of my favorite weapons
I’m happy and sad that the Axe of Whiterun wasn’t mentioned
In one of my playthroughs i played an assassin build with Valdr's and Mehrunes in each hand with Nightingale and Shrouded set parts and it was amazing , one of the most fun playthroughts i've played, yes that wepon is a hiden gem in fact , should be in B tier IMO and in certain builds like i said even A tier, like you said this wepon performs best in the off-hand.
Ranged - Auriel's Bow (combat archer), Nightingale Bow (stealth archer)
Two Handed - Ebony Blade, Champion's Cudgel
One Handed - Nightingale Blade and Chillrend
Dagger - Blade of Woe
Since I play without enchanting smithing and alchemy, I usualy use unique weapons, and when ever I start a new playthrough, there is a high chance I will use one of these.
I’d like to see a ranking list on the anniversary edition weapons, there are some cool and unique daedric weapons
Glass bow of the Stag Prince got shafted, it does as much damage as an ebony bow on top of its effect. At least B tier
Are you the one doing VO behind these videos? Excellet job!
I didn’t catch it
But honestly, it’s at minimum an A tier for me regardless. Between just loving the Thieve’s Guild storyline & the bow working well for me, my only problem is how much recharging it needs
Missed out on Zephyr, Wabbajack, Sanguine Rose, Dravin’s Bow, Skull of Corruption, Nightingale Bow, and Bow of the Hunt.
lunar weapons deserve to be higher. its really easy to just hit wait until nighttime, and it can do way more damage than a simple fire enchantment, as well as have more charges than a simple fire enchantment.
I swear it has a drain health effect during the day!?
@@JaigEyes1207 havent ever tested it during the day, its entirely possible!
I wish this list was varied as opposed to in order from worst to first. It'd be more surprising that way. Still, great video
It’s like I’m being sold on a car
One thing I realised is that all these unique weapons are really good for early to mid game. In late game, using proper high level enchantments on even a wooden sword will outperform even the best of these uniques.
Similarly I advise new players to lay off leveling up their enchantment until latter on if you want a diverse gameplay experience.
bro i used to duel wield the Lucky Dagger and Merus Razor, having a weapon that has a chance to insta kill alongside a weapon that staggers enemies is extremely op!
So it's kinda cool that what I duel wield was listed off in order how I got them in Skyrim ... Dawnbreaker and Dragonbane
Auriels bow has fast atack rate (similar to zephyr) does great against undead, can change the sun and can make the sun burst your enemies
Glad you didn't forget the Longhammer. That thing is absolutely the greatest weapon in the game.
"Skyrim has more weapons than starfield has loading screens"
Are you sure?
I would consider Valdr's Lucky Dagger one of the best weapons in the game for dual wielding. The critical hit staggers opponents and can be used with Elemental Fury when equipped in the left hand, leaving the right hand for your OP Enchanted weapon of choice. Especially early game, this weapon cuts the mustard.
How would you rate the Dawnfang and Duskfang and Chysamere as well as Umbra and the two weapons from the Knights of the Nine Set gear?
10:14 The ebony blade has a few variants that you can get randomly, and one of them makes enemies not count attacks from the ebony blade as an assault, meaning you won’t get fined for killing someone with it.
01:38 - 01:41 😂😂😂😂 Caught me off guard there! Almost choked on my sweat roll! 😂
Are you going to rank the staffs next?
I got Ghostblade early one run, and it spoiled me on ultralightweight weapons so much that from then on I've beelined to the bound weapons. I might not use it much but it had a big impact on many hours of playtime since then.
I actually had one playthrough where my character dual-wielded the nightingale blade and chillrend. The results are as you would expect.
I hanent played dragon age origins in years but I still hear "enchantment!" in my head any time the word is mentioned
I believe it was the Mace of Molag Bal that I got quite early in my first (and only) playthrough ... carried me till the end of the game.
I dont have to refill the windsher, the bar is just always full. Is that a glitch?
Need it about unique armor !🤩😍
Mehrune's razor then quicksave was my best combo ^^
