It's different, submarines have many people working and if something goes wrong they have some assurance that submarine would at least take them up to the water surface and call in for help, which would not take more than a day to arrive. Whereas in space, the mentality is different when you realize that you are thousands of kilometers away from 'help', which can take more than 8 months to arrive (coming up with a rescue plan, preparing and executing it), and the only few centimeter thick metal sheet is standing between you and instant death in vacuum of space.
14 days out to sea can kinda screw with you. You see the same people over and over. Can't go anywhere. I've had to resist the "Siren's" call a few times. Food isn't always gonna be good. Captain can make things difficult. No cell service when you're far out. Fun when shit seems to be broken all the time. A couple of times I've thought about asking what the 1st engineers problem because there were times when he was just all over the place but I didn't spend as much time on the boat as him. There's times where you're just bored. It's also a lot of fun when you take anti motion sickness pills then have lucid dreams that your roommate is in. Told him to stay out of my room or I was gonna bust his head open. I don't know if I told him about it but it was a really weird dream and screwed me up for a few days. I ended up locking my door for awhile after that one because I didn't know if it was real or I was really messed up.
This is how I see everyone whose turned to making skits during Covid to process their emotions lol literally every ticktock I see now I imagine them going crazy like how he was acting out their show after it broke, love gordo love all the characters in this show so we’ll done I really like how they played actors acting always a good idea.
If they only had the budget to do the 1/6 gravity once………I’m glad they picked this moment. But I wouldn’t put it past Ed to do that to Gordo even in full gravity, Ed’s a badass.
Nah. Gordo's son was way worse. Gordo was a flawed man but he had a legit mental breakdown. Danny was just a bad person in addition to being mentally damaged.

It's 1/3 gravity. They're not floating away anytime soon. At 1:52, there's no way Ed could've thrown Gordo up onto the ceiling like that had it been Earth gravity.

Hierarchy is useful, or even necessary in a large group, or to simplify split second decisions, but in solving months long interpersonal conflicts between only three people? It's pretty shit.

The first solution shouldn't be to throw hands. Gordo is going crazy and instead of trying to find a way to fix it Ed thinks beating some sense into him will work. He doesn't listen to other people throughout the whole series and gets a lot of people killed because of his ego. He is honorable, courageous, and loyal but he can grow up and get over himself.

La Quica I wouldn’t say instant death, turns out we can survive in vacuum for 2 minutes - but It certainly isn’t pleasant.
