I swear I could see fishes swimming in the back

I like the video, but flossing is a legal form of snagging, and drifting a little red fly with some weights on 20# test is flossing. Reds don't bite.
Setting the hook is VERY recommended and VERY legal. Attempting to snag a fish in the back by yanking when your bait is behind them is what would be illegal in Alaska.

For pressured fish yes however I have caught sockeye drifting roe with a bobber. I've caught them trolling with downriggers. I've caught them in the in the salt casting a tiny streamer for dollies. I've seen the travel 6 feet in a stream to intercept my fly. I know they can bite when conditions are ideal. Thank you for your comment. I enjoy a good debate and there are some truths to what you say.

      @@CampfireKodiak,
      Same with Great Lakes Salmon.
I have tried moving to stripping big streamers and covering more water faster.
Yes you catch less fish but the hits are violent ! No doubt of flossing!
For just dead drift presentations I like beads or egg patterns on Euro Nympho g rigs where the fly drifts above the salmon ( unlike bottom bouncing we don’t tick the bottom much maybe once a drift , we see the sighted slow down and maintain the hover)

Setting the hook is not snagging.

It's not even flyfishing. It is snagging fish. You are better off with a spinning rig.
