The most concise demonstration I have ever seen! Excellence in motion!
Thanks for watching and stay tuned.....much more to come with Shawn.
yeah, definitely
Wow! what a great explanation. Totally different from anything else I've seen or heard. The overpowering the final cast is exactly what I do and I end up driving the rod tip down. Really helpful. Thank you Mr Leadon.
Thanks for watching and happy to help!
When Shaun said to keep it at eye level, it just all came together. Thank you!

Thanks Shawn for a clear concise explanation with a great example of how to do it right!

Some ideas well presented . And "Calm Assertive Energy" I am using that! The Leadon Rule :)
Brian has it memorized now! "Calm assertive energy". Classic!

Thank you. I was fishing in Otago, New Zealand a month ago and gave up because of the wind. Will definitely go out in the wind now to get this right.
Thanks for watching. We have a few others in this series on dealing with the wind as well.
Thank you!!!
Thanks for watching.
So calm... wow
Thanks for watching.
Y'all know what's really great?
A fisherman that is intelligent.
This fella is DEFINITLY in his element, in control of his world.
Excellent!
He certainly is! Thanks for being here.
Calm, assertive, energy.
CAE.
i hope theres a bonefish video of this place coming soon 😁 looks like a nice place
Many coming your way! Stay tuned!
Fly fishing here in Texas means dealing with the wind. I think he hits the nail on the head. Early on, I tried to power my way through casting. I have since learned to let the rod and line do the work. One of my tricks is to shorten the casting stroke by placing my index finger on top of the grip. This forces me to shorten it up. Great presentation!
Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for an episode where he talks about the importance of thumb on top of the grip though.....
You’re all bundled up! Are you cold? I thought the Bahamas were in the tropics! It’s 70° in Michigan today.
It was a cold trip by Bahamas standards…..yes.
I fished with Shawn about 20 years ago. A cold front went through. He had on a down jacket and a ski cap. Funniest thing. @@Madriveroutfitters
Nice.
Thanks for watching.
Can you do a video on Stripping Baskets and the various options?
Please send Brian an email with your request and he’ll get right back to you. Thanks!
Gotta remember that eye level finish for next time I’m in Honduras!
Thanks for watching.
3:04 When the line energy bumps the rod. He could have sent that to the moon if he wanted.
He’s an amazing caster and instructor! He can also find bonefish as well as anyone alive!
It would had been nicer for more tips but grateful never the less, that guy seems very knowledgeable.
Stay tuned! Quite a few episodes coming with Shawn. This was just a warmup.
Key position and power stop position, straight rod path = tight loops. So simple but allot of people struggle with that one.
Thanks for watching.
0:25 i've always wondered what Brian without a hat looked like
Rarely happens right? Surprised his wig didn’t fly off! 😉
The Leadon family is great. I hope you got some of Juliet’s famous tuna salad.
We have a few videos here on TH-cam about the Tuna. Brian says that’s the main reason he goes to AIBC.
The secret is the perfect amount of Bahamian goat peppers☺@@Madriveroutfitters
"Calm assertive energy"
C.A.E.
I'll bet you get to deduct that Andros trip on your taxes. That is just not fair. :-)
Well….it’s a part of how we make a living! Brian was hosting a group of 10 clients.
Also Watch how steady the rest of his body is. I have a lot to learn
He's a master!
That "swooshing sound" is Nike patent infringement, so watch out everybody! /s
Good point. Better casting and less legal issues to boot!
You sound like Israel Adesanya
He does it on purpose! Thanks for watching though.
@@Madriveroutfitters where is he from? Interesting accent!
@@chessoo Andros Island, Bahamas.🇧🇸
Thanks as always!
