- In this tutorial we will learn to build a remote controlled car / tank. We will also add a WiFi camera to make the Tank more equipped. We will use the nRF24L+ module for remote control. With this tutorial, you can learn motor control with the joystick, remote motor control and motor control with the nRF24L01.

had to upload to the nano with the old bootloader and I can't get the tank to respond. Is there anything you have to do to the code for this to work or should it just work right away.

I tried building this tank as per your video, awesome work btw, but after coding I get no response from the tank except for the servo trying to what seems like auto-adjust, it turns in very small increments. I checked and re-checked all the connections but cannot get the tank to work. Would you have any suggestions on troubleshooting ?
I have used as per your selection the Lipo Battery - goo.gl/2JZnmg. Is this not enough to power all of the tank ? I will try using separate power sources for the board and the motor and update on here. Thanks for replying.

Its working now. It was the power supply. I have now used two 18650 is series and it works fine. I think it needed more juice than one cell.

hello. love your videos! Question: In recomendations you said you didn't get the full performance out of a 9v battery. How will a lower voltage battery (7.4v) give a better peformance? Best regards
so we just need more mAh regardless on which battery
9volt battery, I think he uses square shape 9volt battery, the ampere is not enough for motor, but if you replace it with 2 of 18650 battery, you could have enough for the motor, voltage didn't matters if the ampere is enough(in motor case)

Nice project , can i use OV7670 Camera module , would it perform the same as yours?
sadly no it wont because it doesn't support WIFI so you wont be able to connect it unless its wired (which is impossible for a wire to handle all of this area, unless the robot only covers a really small area or that u have a really long wire
Hi we are making a robot that is quite similar to yours. how ever it seems like the robot doesnt move when we move the joystick. we think that the problem is with the nRF24L01.Sometimes it will receive the signal. sometimes it doesnt. Can you help us? What can we do about it?
nrf24l01 need good power-supply .You can add a capacitor 10uf or 100uf to the nrf vcc and gnd it will increase energy and i will work.
is using a 9v lithium ion battery with 650 mAh good enough?

actually we have to connect the cable to the system know?

Today I have power on to the tank but I need information : the two motor is DC motor,from the video I see that LM298 has the two connection for step up motor inside ,and when I try to move joistick only one motor go and not fluenty,the lm298 is very hot,the 2 motor is ok ,i test this sepately with 6vdc work perfectly ,I try to supply with 6vdc the LM298 (only one motor go not correctly) ,also I try to supply with 12vdc but the result is worst,i supply with AA battery in series,help please.Thank a lot.
The lm298 is not a very good motor driver because it is preferable at 0.5 - 2 amps

I've got the transmitter and the tank talking now, but when I push forward on the controller the tank goes full speed forward and then won't respond until I unplug the power. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
