  • Here we describe an old technique to remediate water extracted hash or dry sieve hash using tribolectrostatic separation. Using the differences in electrical properties of particles it is possible to separate stalks and contaminants from trichome heads.

    SC Filtration has researched this process extensively and we are preparing to launch an automated Electrostatic Separator at MJBIZCON. For the smaller labs where it is not cost-effective to use a machine for this process, we offer this video as a courtesy.

    I’ve dabbled with glove then final static grabbing with a solid new roll of aluminum foil… worked awesome

      The entire aluminum roll? Did it load particles on both sides of the roll? Was the pull strong?

    Great resin you do need a good strain to really do it effectively but there are many, nice and oldschool, to some extent I do believe people were doing this a very very very long time ago tbh which is pretty cool, can't say that about BHNO haha.. no hate tho, some BHO has its place if it's produced very well.

    Can not wait for the device, ALL I am hoping for is that the device is NOT some motor that just mimics this but actually uses electricity haha... or maybe something very advanced, but we will see the big surprise soon I hope. Imagine this one, amazing genetics (may I even say pure Z even if it's impossible to grow LOL) fresh frozen harvested (works very well for Z imo, some strains I prefer drying tho), static sifted then all those heads in a 15 micron bag, press it up, leave that justtt when it's just done nucleating (for real Z that can be weeks, LOL) and then ... you won at the herb game LOL, the higgest grade I have yet had probably is 90-120u WCA (family batch shoutout to WCA for life lol) just pure Z fresh press rosin, but I am a hash head at heart!

      What device..? It's a nylon brush, a paint-roller and parchment - all things that come with a screen printing kit.

      What he's referring to is the fact we are developing a device that can do this automatically using static electricity.

    Thanks for the tip about the screen printing frames,
    but how can the technique be called Paint Roller Static Tech even though you don't use a paint roller?

    • @SamboCreeckFiltration
      @SamboCreeckFiltration  ปีที่แล้ว

      In fact we do. A paint roller is used due to the soft felt and it is covered by a latex glove or paper. Look at some of the other versions of this video.
