Nice cloth sim of the jacket. =) I would suggest, adding a little extra of dynamics to the whole animation by making the backpack a little unstable, like after the jump it following back down with a slight hover and maybe landing on his back far up, touching his head. I can tell big backpacks can be annoying, I am using one a lot. =D
@@trungduyng I don't think it needs to be hard, how would you animate it? It could be made by simple hand animation, it is just one solid object, which you'd just reposition. Stretching of the holders could be accomplished by various means.
The theme of this challenge is Parkour related, also you have to follow a sort of movement template. You can check out the challenge details here: th-cam.com/video/crNcaWULkMM/w-d-xo.html
@@trungduyng The question of this guy makes sense, have you watched Clint's livestreams? He is pointing out holes in the logic of why a character makes a particular move, so it will be important to make it understandable, why a character is jumping. In this case, walking around would make sense. But there would be an easy fix for your animation. Just add 1 or 2 more obstacles closer to the camera, so that there is no open space to walk around. Then it makes sense. But when you say, you have to follow a movement template....... That doesn't mean you need to stick to the provided animations. You can also create your own within the run cycle, which I think will be appreciated, because we will be seeing a lot of them same animations.
@@alyxgurr755 oh I understand your question now. Yes I though of that, because it would be easier for him to just run around the obstacle. So I'm thinking of a way to tell that he didn't notice the obstacle at first, so he has to jump. Maybe make him looking at his watch or something so he doesn't see the obstacle.
toon/ anime style texture goona go crazy with this one. dem impressive
Looks very fun already! Looking forward to seeing the end result!

@@Marc_Fuchs_1985 the reason I didn't make the backpack dynamic is very simple, it is hard 🤣

I did a reaction to this render on my channel. Good job on this one. I'll see you in the montage
thank you, best of luck to you too!
if u dont mind me asking, where do you get the character models? or you made it youself ?
@@wingsoffreedom1023 I have a personal library of custom 3D models that I collected here and there. This one is from Devian Art I think.
Why couldn't he run around and instead had to jump?
