Steve, the amount of oil saved by sealing the pedestal at the head is not large enough to measure up top. Later I removed the assembly again. and noticed the peds had some rounding at the bottoms, so I sanded them flat, didn't take much to get them flat, and it sealed without using sealant. I should have a vid of that soon.
