That’s a lot of trimming. I can’t do it, after 10 minutes the trimmer would just fall out of my hands. Even with vibration gloves, my hands just fall asleep. Looks like a beautiful area. Stay safe 🌲 I spent Christmas in Balingen once. But live in Pennsylvania

We use nettles in a bucket of water, let ferment for a month, then use that diluted in a watering can. Ratio we use is half a cup to 9 litres of water. Mind you we make all our own fertiliser. Way better than store bought, home-made is beneficial for the soil and store bought actually does nothing for the health of the soil.

Have you ever been tempted to take the safety guard off the strimmer on a job like that so you have a larger strimming area? I haven't myself but many people particularly in the USA prefer to take the safety guard off. I am in the UK and generally are working on smaller lawns close to houses and cars so have always left the guard on.
Not sure if that’s all true in the U.S., maybe some people do but it could be dangerous. The gardener who cleans up our yard once a week, doesn’t take off the safety guard for his weed trimmer, and he has had his lawn care business for over twenty years and he has been working for us for almost twenty years. Maybe a few but I’ve never seen a weed trimmer safety guard taken off. It’s not taken off because the people who use the weed trimmer know that debris could fly up and cause damage or injury.. Be safe 😁

That was a lot of area you had to cover, and that grass was really thick. I could see how deep your feet were sunk in in some areas. I have to wonder if you had any back pain with all that repetitive motion. Hope you were ok after that one. You did a great job as usual!
Thank you. Yes sometimes after this kind of work my back hurts a lot, but that's normal. I would have mowed everything with a tractor, but the owner wanted to do it by hand.
We will have to nickname the man with the shoulders and arms of steel. That was a lot of work, job well done.
