How to install aluminum fence panels. Between columns, pillars or any kind of posts.
Step 1: First, remover the old rusty steel or rotted wood.
Step 2: Cut the aluminum posts to size, two post for each aluminum fence panel.
Step 3: Use ½”-3/4“ metal drill bit (depend on what screws you are using), drill holes only on one side, one hole about 12” from top and one 12” from bottom. You can add a center hole (recommended for panels that are higher than 4’). Make sure you drill between the channels and not on the flat part of the aluminum post or the post cover.
Step 4: Then, use ¼”-3/8” metal drill bit to drill the other side of the ½”-¾” hole. Repeat this stage for all your aluminum posts.
Step 5: Place the post in its passion on the wall and once it is level mark the post holes on the wall. Use hummer drill to drill the wall with the right drill bit for the anchors or screws you are using.
Step 6: Repeat it for the other side of the aluminum fence panel with the other post.
Step 7: Place the post back on the wall and screw it in, do not tight the screws all the way before you check that your post is level again. Use shims to level it if needed.
Step 8: Once both of your posts are in place you can move on to the slats. Measure from inside of the post’s channel to other side inside the post’s channel. Make sure the top and bottom are the same size. Cut your slats to the right size and slide the slats and spacers to complete the aluminum fence panel.
Step 9: Once you slid your last slat, use the stainless-steel L brackets and screw on both sides to secure the aluminum fence panel.
Step 10: Cut the post covers you need to fill any open channel on the posts and slide them in.
Step 11: Lastly, use silicone to glue the aluminum post cup.

I need to have front fence 25% visible. Can I just use multiple spacers instead of the one spacer you use?
