Cool trip. Nice to see the deer. aahahahaha over the bumpy trail. LOL. Funny stuff. Watch out for the speed trap! It was nice to see the rural communities. Cool to see the random old gas pump. That gas was expensive. Good thing you were on a bike. Haha. Well done on your ride. Have a great day.
The first part Albany to Hudson was located on a former electric trolley Line. So glad they have incorporated this into the Empire State Trail. Kinderhook was the hometown of President Martin Van Buren. You can visit his home and tour it with a national park service ranger. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Greeting Sir Thomas I salute to your super Adventure unbelievable endurance if you apply for Guinness world of Record I believe you gonna win it,so inspiring you’ll done well! so really well! May the highest being be upon you always with protection, health and happiness you and to your lovely family and friends 👍❤️🤝
Thomas, you never know where you'll be!! I'm wishing I was in Florida and you are always going north! Seeing you enjoy the ride so much made me smile, too. Lovely episode. Thanks for sharing! Peace & Prayers.
Love seeing that northeast fall colors as well as the countryside that’s very similar to where I grew up in Maine. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful video!
Lots of beautiful waterfalls in the way. Lamas are such cool animals. There were all group of farm animals living happily together and dogs were guarding them.
You'll enjoy it but beware of rolling hills roads between Hudson and Kingston it can be hard for your knees. I did 80 miles that day and I could feel it.
Between 40 and 60 might be a little cold for me, but it might help when riding a bike. It definitely can get hot. Beautiful trail! I love the waterfalls! Another great ride! Thanks for taking us along! Hope the weather is good for you.
It warmed up during the daytime but fall weather is coming up there and leaves are turning pretty. Riding the bike warms you up quickly. Thanks for watching 🙂
Wow lots and lots of deer! So cool! Need to see more of the Amtrak experiences too! We were in Albany but I didn't visit the Amtrak Station.m Loved how the trail is very well marked. That should be an example for all state trails to use. So pretty. Those dogs and llamas were interesting! Those dogs liked you! Any plans to ride the northern section to the Canadian Border? You could ride the Amtrak to Rouses Point and then head south to Albany. Lots of nice trails we are seeing in Vermont as well!
At some point I might do the northern leg of Empire State Trail too but that is mostly back county roads not much trail but yes the trail is well marked. I was surprised to see how big and nice the Amtrak station was but Albany is the capital of New York State.

I love to ride through the countryside and take the back roads. Those rolling hills took a lot of energy but I loved the ride. Thanks!
It's so nice being able to see America through your eyes.
Thanks, glad to hear that 🙂

Thank you for the information. I was wondering why they have named it "Electric Trail".

It was interesting to see how the farm animals and dogs lived happily together. Thanks for watching my biking adventure 😊
@@FollowThomas I think those dogs are a breed of "stock dogs" they live with the farm animals and protect them

@@FollowThomas yeah after seeing it in your video I regret not stopping. Time was limited but I could've sacrificed a few minutes
How'd you know the deer were related?
I checked the birth certificate..😆 A group of deers crossed the trail and some were small so that's what I assumed.
