I tend to blow till thinners are dry or leave a few mins to air then apply a light amount of glue and spread. It happens quite often in just practise the best technique as everyone has there own way. But try applying less glue so it's not too heavy on the corners of the edge of sheet.
Is it possible to glue fabric lining to the latex? Like poliester or viscose lining? Or only latex to latex?

What kind of latex adhesive are you using ? I’m having trouble finding the right adhesive in the U.S. :(
