Actually, the Chinese refer to pu'er tea as black tea, and they refer to teas we would normally call black teas as red tea. 普洱茶=黑茶,西方人叫做黑茶的中国人叫红茶。Some expert...
I think I know the answers but I just want to confirm what specifically makes David's tea better quality than cheaper sources? For example you can purchase loose green teas like genmaicha or sencha from the likes of Super Store & T&T for a quarter of the price. My guesses are organic and fair trade?
I'd never heard the cold water in the bottom of the mug tip. I'll have to try that out! Usually I just let the boiled water sit for a few minutes before pouring it into the mug, but that's just extra time that I have to wait :p
Pu-erh is black tea in China. When you say red tea in China they assume your talking about western black tea since the brew is reddish. Fermentation does not decrease the caffeine content in pu-erh
Only green, white, and oolong can burn. It's possible your cream of earl grey has just gone stale? That happened to my Hot Lips, but luckily I'm almost done so I can buy more fresh tea!
This video has the look and sound of a school report given by the kid who watched videos rather than doing any actual research, and got a little too stoned before having to give the report.
Wow, I didn't know you can burn your tea leaves with boiling water or that they are sensitive to humidiy and light:/ I really like the loose leaf tea by the northwest brand Cavolobacca; it's all organic. Haven't yet tried David's tea. Is it also organic?
This looks like the kind of tea shop where I ask for some aged shou mei and they look at me like I'm some sort of alien. I don't trust western tea shops. It's just lowest budget teas with artificial flavouring sprayed onto it and then sold to the masses by branding and marketing campaigns. I just looked at their online shop and looked through their offering. Yeah, they only sell garbage. Don't waste your money on this stuff. They only have a couple of actual teas and those look very low quality and the prices are insane for what it is.
Metalbirne it may not be traditional, but as a huge fan of the brand I can honestly say it’s delicious!! They may or may not have the tea you mentioned, but if you ever do go it may be worth looking at the options first.
Really enjoyed the vd the tips are all helpful thanks for sharing
I’ve noticed that some bagged tea has a paper taste. Been enjoying DavidsTea a lot lately. Been using the Nordic mugs and the infusers in other mugs

Im so sad that there is no DavidsTea in Germany...
Thanks for the info! Why can't some burn? It just tasted different anyway, for one reason or another. It happens sometimes.
