A mix of the good, the bad and the frightful. Still, I enjoyed the high points and learnt to avoid anything touched by McFerrin from the lesser moments
I would hate to have been in that audience. To be only a few feet away from brilliant musicians and not be able to hear them properly over the roar of the untrained listeners. would be torture.
I don't think Bach's music can be improved by attempting to jazz it up. It sounds optimal (to me) the way Bach created it, so this effort is meaningless and redundant to this life-long (93 yrs) Bach lover: Nice, but futile try. I mean - changing tempos and a little syncopation - come on. Can't you just listen to the music without the aid of synthetic distractions? Just admit you love jazz and Bach is only incidental to your preferences.
I think Bach is very malleable and open to modification! Bach is timeless and what makes it great is just as present with or without the swing! This is coming from a relatively new Bach fan (of 16 years).
ДЯКУЮ!!!🎺🎺🎺👍👍👍
