There is just something about your filming technique that gives us the plane, the whole plane, and nothing but the plane! This is why your channel is so compelling to watch. great work! Please keep it up. All the best.
Casey first i must say a Huge thank you for the great entertainment throughout 2018 man i have enjoyed your spotting videos so much and i am already looking forward to 2019. It was hard for me to choose one of those planes as my favorite but i choose the Antonov 225 cause for me its in a class by it self. Casey you will surpass 38,000 subscribers by the end of 2019 there is no doubt in my mind whatsoever. This video is a excellent video well done Casey and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! to you blessings.
Dear Casey, at first i wish you a great and happy new year too. A excellent selection of your best planespotting - moments in the last year! My faves are the Etihad B787-10, the breathtaking crosswind landing of the Qatar A350-1000 in LHR and not but not least the imposing Antonov 225. Goodbye BA Boeing 767 - an unspectacular ending of a legend...:-( Thank you so much for your great work and best wishes for 2019. I really like your channel, Casey. ;-) Many greetings from Germany to UK.
Seems as if you had an amazing year Casey! Loved this compilation showcasing your best moments of 2018! Can't wait to see what's in store for you in 2019! All the best for the new year mate :)
Great video man. I love them all and your content is truly amazing. Keep up the great work. Your actually the only guy I LIKE to watch for planespotting. So thx bro:)
I´ve flown the 767 one month later than you did and I was seated with the same view as you had and departed the same runway with the same weather, it was cloudy when I was departing (19th of march)
They way you captured the An-225 was absolutely magnificent, fabulous, magisterial!!! How did you get the info that it would take off at that real time, and how did you know you had to stay rooted at that very place? very well done and many thanks, just amazing what I've just seen there!
WowJet 2 taking off in snow trully skilled pilots I am watching these videos to stop my fear of flying. I only got scared after a tiny plane flight over Costa Rican jungle on holiday. Getting weighed etc before flying does not give you confidence never again. I’m ok with the big planes now thinking of going back to US where my sis ilves after watching your video brilliant welldone
All-in-all, another great video. Though two parts really stand out for me. That spectacular engine glow on the 737-MAX at 03:50. :) And the EasyJet A321-NEO at 06:30 was pretty cool, too. It's always a treat to see a brand new jet. Happy New Year, Casey, from N.J. in the U.S. ;) Looking forward to more awesome videos in 2019! :)
What I love about airplanes is how they are delivered to the airlines. They are too big for the road, they are too long for the rail, so they fly THEMSELVES to the airlines.
The winner for me is the Quatar A350 as it is the most beautiful film, the most impressive is the Antonov 225 indeed. But I learned that Cubana operates the IL-96.
Driving near Dulles early Saturday morning we saw an A380 and then a few minutes later another four engine that seemed larger than the Il-96, more stretched that is, it was interesting to see the difference. Your opening shot was really nice, as they always are, but the snow plow was a great coincidence (although probably tough to avoid that day too.)
at 0:36....boeing 757-200 (cause of the three main fuselage doors and one extra/emergency exit aft of wing),but what is/are the best way(s) to determine the differnce of a 767-300 and 767-400 (8:49) ?...cause the fuselage doors amount on the 300 compared to the 400 are difficult to determine for me...is it just the amount of windows on the fore of the plane which differs a 300 from a 400?i am a beginning plane-enthousiast so be gentle hehe ;-)
Well the 767-300/400 in most cases is easy cuz the 400 is only flown by Delta and United (ignoring 1 that is flying around as a private business jet). Since both Delta and United have retrofitted blended winglets onto their almost all their 300's (Delta's final 2 300's without winglets are about to be retired this spring), you can easily tell if it is a 400 if it doesn't have winglets (the 400 came from the factory with raked wingtips so they don't need winglets). In addition, all of Delta and United's 300's have over-wing exit hatches while the 400's don't. Hope this helps!
so it IS difficult haha...was hoping for a 'simple' spotter answer what could cover al of the 300's and 400's...like the number of windows on the fore of the plane (which after my observations on google pictures and Wikipedia is a thing to differ the 300 from the 400), or the number of doors on the fuselage...cause when you look at 8:49 it is a 300, but with 4 doors and raked wingtips (and you say that the 400 come out of the factory with raked wingtips)…guess i have to 'settle' with the fact that 2-3rds of the 767's are 300's then ;-p
but thanks for taking the time to answer David, appreciate it! your reaction lead me read more on the 767-400 and indeed the Continental (united) and Delta are its only 'clients' so to speak...so, looking for United and Delta liverys and raked wingtips…and as a further reaction to your answer; you write that the 300's of delta en united have over wing exits, but looking at the 8:49 one it doesnt, so does that mean that the airliner 'make' their own versions (like easyjet does with the a319 and 2 over wing exits)?
Funny how they put the phonenumber on the An-225. Like people are going to call and say uuh hello? I just randomly saw your phonenumber on an aeroplane that was passing by and uuuhm I've got a couple of questions if you don't mind answering them.....
'Cooling brakea perhaps after holding back that behemoth during the spool up of the six engines for a full power commencement of its takeoff roll. 🛫 🇨🇦 🛬
I assume it's safe to say they've hit the sweet spot in airliner design. They all look alike, they're all flying full, and well-managed airline are all making a profit.
hahaha, #3 is in my hometown airport, and they are saying through the PA sistem "Atención señores pasajeros con destino a Estados Unidos, debido a la aplicación de las medidas especiales de seguridad, han de presentarse en la puerta de embarque 1h 30min antes de la salida de su vuelo". Btw, I have been on that flight, the BA 777-300 from LHR to MAD, I was surprised they used that giant for such a short flight, but I guess it depends on the cargo and the requesting of that route.
Man! that supersized Antonov AN225 take-off and steep climb just blew my mind !

Absolutely love the flip-flop flashing of the Etihad 787 LED nav lights, and hissss of the mighty Mriya.
the antonov taking flight is just incredible

Difficult for me to choose the best, but i need to go to the Antonov, a very rare catch out there! Really great selection on your highlight!

That An 225 shot was cool
Jet2 757 in the snow, Cubana Il-96, and An-225 very very close up have to be the winners! And how nice not to have music.
Happy new year !
Would you have rathered music? If so I will bare it in mind for future
@@CPlanespotting no I'm assuming he's happy you didn't include music :P

Some stunning shots in there mate.. Brilliant video !
Nice video. I liked the Etihad Dreamliner the best, the lighting was great.
arthur ollier 787-10. That’s a Dreamliner, where I come from. It even says Dreamliner on the side of it. Unless they are wrong also?

You did excellent simply spectacular I love this video and Happy 2019 !!🛬🛫✈️🛩🚅🥳🥳🥳
Thank you for not putting any music. The roar of jet engines is better than any music.
The 787-1000 is one sexy airplane
13:47 what could be the reason for not putting the gear up for such a long time?
Your dad
Cool the brakes,
Jason Jibbit was wondering the same thing
Hi all, reason for late gear being restowed is to do with brakes overheating, the wind will cool brakes after couple minutes in air
Ben Murrey why would the brakes be used when taking off?
Where is it on 9'32 ? Thank you
Very cool year you had.
Beautiful video! =D
Wow, what an amazing year for you! Can`t wait to see what 2019 has to offer ;)

The Ilyushin il-96 looks like it could be refitted with Rolls Royce RB-211's and be good to go.
