Further, how about completing the AMI Diploma (2 years) followed by a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (1 year) and an additional 1 year in Bachelor in Special Needs Education. Akki there are some Bachelor of Education degrees at SLIIT university in Sri Lanka (In English, biological sciences, physical sciences and other subjects) and in these degrees we have a 10 week practicum in which we get to practice teaching in government schools or private schools. In addition, in these degrees there are various modules which focus mainly on the teaching skills of the students and the other modules are focused on the subject itself. In the last 2 years there is a module called Microteaching in which we must teach in the classroom just like we are meant to do at schools and we are also observed by experienced lecturers who have worked at schools as well as universities.
If you can pls do a program regarding how to become a SEN (Special Education Needs) Teacher in Australia. Specially age limit, requirements, qualifications what we should have, salary, etc) Thanks
