YOU are doing good but I was told that 102 was as wide as you could get by with ,correct me if I am wrong
I was thinking the same thing. Anything over 102" wide is considered oversized and you need special permits from Dot to pull oversized stuff.. I could be wrong.
You're both correct. 102" is maximum legal width for any vehicle per DOT regulations.
Going to be a really nice trailer when you get done . If it ever stops raining there .. Right !! We are getting a lot of rain / snow here in northern Utah also . Take care my friend and be safe !!
FINALLY has been sunny here for about 4 straight days. Once we get all the debris up and dry out we will finish the trailer. shouldn't take more than a weekend now. Hey, at least the snow can be nice to look at! thanks!
Wow that’s to bad about the flood, that trailer looked like it was turning out really nice, I have one similar to yours and I like what you did with the wheel wells. Good luck with everything, keep up the good videos.

Two words.......Linseeed oil! Your wood would still be good if you’d used it once a year.
We use white oak on all our trailers and truck beds on the farm and never has one gone bad treated every year with linseed oil I’m 54 and serval older than I am.

Different vehicles, a diesel pusher motorhome, a 2017 ram, an old tahoe, my old 99 ram. depends on what we are hauling
I've restored many trailers and its been my experience that the best way to turn a $1,500 trailer into a $3,000 trailer is to spend another $1,500 on it. I do these projects because I enjoy it, but there's never any money saved or money earned by doing them. It's a break even proposition at best.

Still in progress, the flood you see in the video really set me back by several months on finishing. I didnt have to be in a hurry since I bought a TJ to rebuild that didnt need the trailer to be towed. I will try to get the second part done by the end of the month.

I haven't. I havent even put out any videos in a few months. My wife and i had a pretty major life event occur that i may talk about in my next video. that put ALL projects on hold. I will finish it but realistically not until mid winter at least. Thanks for asking!!

Nope, two floods in consecutive years and going through a lengthy adoption process causes some significant prioritization. It is about 60% done but fully operational. I have another video ready to go but havent had time to edit it together. Now with this covid crap i doubt ill have any real update for another month.
