- This isn't a complete guide by any means, just what I do and what effort I put in to get profit off of these trailers. Hope you find it interesting!

Damn bro. Exactly what I've been up to. I got started because my fam needed help moving and I spotted an amazing deal. We had a bunch of stuff and I realized we couldn't pay for a Uhaul rental every time. I fixed up a similar trailer to the one in the video, Haulmark brand enclosed cargo trailer. I sanded the rims and repainted them. Grinded off a bunch of old stickers and repainted the outside as well with some premium house paint. Added tire shine to the tires. Requested the paper title from the DMV. I did it all. I helped my fam move and I made a nice $1200 profit. I'm about to re-sell another one for big bucks! I think I need to go outside right now and spray some paint on some exposed rust. After I saw you get down with the spray I thought wow, I need to get out there and do that little bit. Thumbs UP, and subbing your channel!
I did this made $2,000
As a what was a healthy now 35 year old that now has to sleep on oxygen and has stage 4 copd and never smoked. Get a respirator man. Breathing that crap in for years destroyed my lungs. Please bro do yourself a favor
A few tips. Most States require you to be licensed to sell multiple trailers and you might have to be registered as a dealer.
I wouldn't do much labor just clean it up. Your money is made ON THE BUYING PRICE. Adjust your profit from that.
I ran a car lot for 6yrs. If the car had a dent in the fender I would account for it and just say I'll deduct $200, you get it fixed. This way, you avoid both a headache cost and labor. That dent you tried to fix probably dosen't look great anyhow. 👍
Cool video. You think you can do another video with the numbers. Cost of trailer, cost for repair, and sold price?
I can certainly do a break down video explaining more of the numbers, I appreciate you watching!
Hello are you still planning on making a video about the breakdown. I scanned your page and still don’t see it!! Anyways great video. Thxx
Dude I have been doing this for years. 😎 I have a similar story as j but facebook marketplace is a gold mine!
Bro I’m 18 just got out of school what’s a good way to start .
Save a bunch of trailer listings and see what sells the quickest. That will give you your average price people pay and work from there.
I'm from Florida so I don't know much about undercoating, do you normally spray it over flaking rust?
Ideally you’d want to sand blast it down but I’m looking for quick, this will protect but not like it could be with sandblasting and starting from scratch
Where are you going to check trailer values?
Mostly Facebook marketplace
How much did you profit?
That sheet of plywood is worth 2 low mileage Cummings!!!
😂
Ain’t that the fucking truth
You do a good job filming and editing!
How do you figure it if a certain trailer is a good deal? Thanks
It just takes time and attention to your local market and what sells for what prices
Never, never drive your horses down the road with the windows open to where the horse(s) can pop their heads out. Put the grills and/or screens up. Letting horses put their noses/heads out the window is a magnificent way to get your horse seriously injured or killed.
I agree!
My 5x8 utility trailer has new treated wood floor and new LSD lights with back gate.. lookin for 5x8 or 10 enclosed........
Good video what do you tell people if they ask why you’re selling it?
Do you tell them that you’re buying and selling trailers? I wanna do the same thing, but how do you answer that one?
Be as honest as you can. You’re trying to sell it but you don’t have to be mean about it. Good luck!
What did you spray on the frame?
Just an undercoating product from Walmart
Your intro is way too long.
So is my dink!
Diamond plates the bottom half when you find them like that. Easy fix and looks good. Usually find it used
Did you end up making money?
