Are you just priming directly over sandlbasted steel? No sanding involved? I'm about to paint mine and they are freshly sandblasted. I want a completely smooth finish like you've got and I'm wondering if any additional prep is needed.
Hey yea I used #4 sand and you can primer and paint right over for frames but for bumpers I will go over them quick with 320 on a palm sander just to make it really smooth
@@johnniemo 320 grit on the plastic and I also go over sand blasted metal facebar with 320. For the plastic you will have to high solids primer after you sand it down with 320. Let it dry and resand it or you’ll get chunks in the paint I find. Hope that makes sense
You should give an interior update, like how the paint is holding up and if you’d recommend it
Sounds good, I’ll definitely have one coming soon
