Last Caisson Installation for Tuas Terminal Phase 1

The installation of the 221st and final caisson for Tuas Terminal Phase 1 reclamation. Commenced in 2015, Phase 1 reclamation works are three-quarters completed and on schedule to be fully completed in 2021.
Tuas Terminal will open progressively from 2021. When fully completed in 2040, it will consolidate all port operations in a single location and be capable of handling up to 65 million TEUs per annum.

@@tomdalgleish5324 but seabed are not having same depth and any movement beneath the seabed would it not move these Cairssons ?

@@neutraluser4019 The foundation was prepared to make it uniform. They sand filled between caisson piers so it's more of a reclamation project than a jetty. There could be bracing between opposing caisson piers.
