That was done so that the audience wouldn't get confused about who was shooting and chasing who in long shots. It made good sense. I think you talk without knowing anything about films from what I can tell.
Durango Kid 1940 - through the '40's. Hopalong Cassidy - 1952-1954. Lone Ranger - 1949 - 1957 (Not Black clothing, but White Horse.) Buck Jones, also didn't wear Black Clothing, but he road a White Horse named Silver, from as early as 1927...
Love these old Durango Kid movies. Charles Starrette and Smiley Burnette were the greatest. Just wish I had one of those 29 shooters.
I had one of those. I'd load it up on Sunday and shoot it all week.
Really enjoyed watching this. Thank you 🤠
Just a note sending my deep appreciation for posting this always enjoyable series! 👏👏👏👏
Very Fine Work. Good Job of it. Nice Twist.
After hauling Smiley round, Ring Eye should have gotten the award for the strongest horse in the movies.
Smiley Brunette was a very talented Entertainer but he always played the same character in all the movies A Simple Simon.
Cool
I'll go make B fast in that time he should have found the right tree😃😃😃😎
Poor Smiley had a way of fooking things up, but always came through in the end.
No he does not. The man was very talented. Could play 40 instruments. Wrote all the songs for them.
100 instruments.
Smilesome Burnett same old tired act.
OMG another singing cowboy. at least roy rogers had a lethal E string
The Durango Kid in never sang in his films and Rogers was a very capable singer. He founded the celebrated "Sons of the Pioneers", the musical group.
