The hymn is Lead Kindly Light. The organ is a harmonian or pump organ. The first stanza of the hymn begins "Lead kindly light amid the encircling gloom, lead Thou me on. The night Is dark and I am far from home." I've played it in church many times. Appropriate for their situation.
I read that Hoppy was 6ft tall yet he seems a lot shorter than Robert Miitchum who was either 6ft tall or 6ft 1in depending on which site you go on, anyone know the truth of Hoppy's height?
