Beautiful shells but sad that so many were collected live.

It's no different than hunting or fishing. Many shells and sealife are harvested legally in other areas/countries. It's illegal here in our area to harvest live shells without a permit, so the local shells were all collected empty. 😊

I D0 NOT believe that those big shells were legally found! You mentioned that these were found by diving ... I believe those shells were still HOUSING animals!

Yes, and in many countries harvesting of shells (and sea life) is legal.
