it wouldn't make sense, Hanzo is a ranged DPS, so why get within Reaper range? and the itty bitty little fact that a bow would NOT stay drawn when both hands are focused on climbing. I think the ninja you're thinking of is Genji.
Wall climb has always been a tool used for hanzo to contest high ground and deal with widow. Being within reaper range is a risk vs reward. If I miss my heads shot point blank I die to reaper. Idk what elo you play but removing a characters ability to contest high is a big deal. And realism doesn't matter in a competitive game. Gameplay flow and having dynamic fights are more important
I know realism isn’t necessarily required in a game like this, but yeah having the bow stay drawn just doesn’t make sense when you’re using both hands to climb a wall. + you can expend a resource (storm arrows) if you think you need that IMMEDIATE arrow damage off. Otherwise just contest from better angles or get a good dash right after so they have more trouble hitting you.
Realism? You said it yourself already but anyways. Pls tell me how is a zarya bubble a dragon being shot drom a bow etc. realistic. This is not battlefield or hell let loose lol

so glad i jumped ship at the first sign of the devs despising any sort of skill gameplay
They need to make some sort of indicator showing if you are being scanned by Hanzos recon arrow

@@1overwatchspieler its a simple bow and arrow, it will do simple bow and arrow things, thats Hanzo's gimmick. the magic abilities is his own power.

this happened last season but no one made a video on it so i took matters into my own paws.
