    Well done Barry for filming this. Well done Patrick for being involved in establishing the park all those years ago and well done the people who are ensuring its continuation!

    Wonderful Barry! I saw the earlier film then using a kite fixed camera. Hornchurch Country Park was originally landscaped from a landfill site 1982-94 and I was involved in this. The Ingrebourne Marshes, shown in your new film was becoming degraded as a wildlife habitat, but from the mid 1990's river management work restored it to what your film shows. If you ever do another aerial film here again, a fly over of the main park's tree-plantations and Albyns Farm would be good to see. Thanks again Barry.

    Hornchurch Country Park is one of east London's green treasures.

    Back in the days a very young landscaping man was crushed to death in the original development of Hornchurch Country Park when an old wall fell on him (about 1980). The Family planted a beautiful Ash Tree. As you go in to Squadrons Approach Gate Entrance, its there, (right side).
