U saved my life!! My phone has 16GB of storage. And I was using 15.62GB. But after. I was using only 8.67GB! I now can install my favorite apps! Great tutorial👍👍

New Android version phones doesn't provide storage access to this app for privacy reasons so this app not worth now. If you have a old version of android then it works great..

Finally found a solution to this problem (Samsung Galaxy tab) It worked for me so it might work for you too. First you have to open the reboot menu. To do that:
Step 1 - turn off your device
Step 2 - hold the power button and volume up button together till the Samsung logo comes on screen.
Then after the reboot menu is open, choose "wipe cache partition" (Use the volume buttons and power button to choose the options) and then "repair apps". Don't worry this doesn't delete any of your files. Let me know if this works!

There isnt any obb and data folder in files when i want to put the app permission in , cause they are specefic hiden folders so what should i do ?

idk if this would help other ppl but it removed some other files when i restarted my device. my other files were 6GB then became 2.98GB after i restarted my phone.
Thanks.I had 9 GB, it went to 7 GB when I used the app and when I restarted it went to 5 GB. It's a shame that the "Other" folder isn't completely deleted, but restarting helps.
Sorry this didn't work for me. I may have made a mistake. I deleted other but when I checked storage it still showed 15.43 GB. I live in the UK and my phone may be different from USA.
In my settings it shows 40 GB other storage but in this app it shows only 90 mb 😢😢

@@Howtosolveit What's shown in the video alone won't always help much. The probable reason for this is that there are large deleted files in some of the user's folders, typically videos and photos, that don't show in the device's Gallery app or, by default, in the My Files either, but are still on the device as hidden files taking up storage space. I'm not talking merely about files that are in the Trash folder, but ones that have been emptied from Trash, too. In order to remove them altogether, the hidden files must first be made visible. Now, as to how to do this, I stumbled on the right settings completely by accident when using an another storage analyzer app and I don't remember exactly what I did, but after trying to find out about it on Google and YT, I think what one needs to do is open My Files, tap the three dots icon at the top right corner, tap Settings, look for Show hidden system files and make sure that's turned on. Then restart Storage analyzer. The hidden files should show in their respective folders (Video, Images...) under the File categories tab; their file names begin with a dot (.xxxxxx). Delete these, and a lot of storage space may be released. This may require restarting your device for the deleted files to disappear completely from the dreaded Other files section in My files. I did this on my Flip 3 and the Other files went down from over 30Gb to just under 4 Gb.
I have tried it ... I came to know when I tap others' files. It just deleted others' cache but I tap I others and select one folder and delete temp files and then select another folder and delete temp files..... in this way one can delete whole junk files
