I will put Paul Simon on a par with Lennon and McCartney. Their creativity was quite unique, but then there were two of them. I was raised in an extremely Catholic home that I often found to be oppressive. We were probably more Catholic than the Vatican. So when I left my parent's house I declared myself an atheist; believing that atheistism was simply a lack of religious belief. Over time I painfully discovered I didn't possess the faith required to be an atheist. Atheists and Darwinists are some of the most faith-filled people you will ever encounter. When I finally concluded that the chance of life randomly coming into existence was so profoundly remote that I found myself embracing the idea of a creator. I cannot tell you the mind of that creator or the nature of that creator the will of that creator but I am now convinced creation is far more likely than life being randomly generated. Good luck to all in figuring out this enigma for yourselves.
You do not understand what atheism is. It's simply rejecting the claim that a god exists due to lack of evidence. Faith is believing in something without evidence that it's real or true.
