Rather spookily I just took delivery of a new battery today for my car that i'll be fitting tomorrow. Didn't realise these Volvo's had a support battery, I thought it was exclusive to things like the S-Class with a dozen ECUs to feed. Quite amusing it needs one with a meaty 800 CCA AGM in the boot! Next job on my car will be replacing the rear shocks. Thankfully another very simple job.
Hello Dave! Good to hear from you! Always delighted to get a comment!😂 It strikes me as a bit of a carry on to have that wee battery and the monster in the boot. However, I guess it’s needed. The car is clicking and whirring for about 15 minutes after it’s switched off as all the actuators sort their life out!
