  • In this episode, I'll be sharing four unspoken rules that I've found crucial for successful long-term weight loss, which I believe are applicable to various aspects of life. Drawing from my personal experience of balancing medical school with the responsibilities of caring for three young children and a sick grandmother, I've come to emphasize the significance of taking 100% responsibility for our actions and inner state. Rule number one, which we'll delve into first, underscores the vital role of mindset and attitude in shaping our behavior and determining long-term outcomes. Join me as we explore these rules and how they can empower us to achieve our goals not only in weight loss but in every aspect of our lives.

I went to nursing school with a newborn and a toddler. That was hard, but doable with a lot of support. I cannot even imagine how difficult medical school with 3 little ones must have been. I am in awe. Your strategies are so wise and you've proven they are successful. Thank you!

Great life lessons, thank you, and it's so refreshing and honest to hear a professional admitting to making a mistake, so many don't and it's very upsetting for clients/patients when they try to cover up for mistakes

Hi Laurie- this was a terrific short to the point session with KISS principle applied overall in the 4 key actions provided. I noted each down and added a 5th which was you also saying ' walk in faith' - this resonated with me. Enjoyed the context you provided around each point to add colour, content and prompt for thinking of application in our own life. Yes to more of this style of information sharing. Thanks too for personable, encouraging , 'you're a responsible adult who can do' this delivery... I enjoy the low key, lack of hype, science based approach with a dose of your charm- yours in appreciation :)

Loved this and looking forward to more. I really enjoy simple direct steps and being reminded of the journey, not just the destination.

My best friend making fun of my weight prompted me to do something, nobody else can do it for me, I went on to loose 30lbs and kept it off for 5 years.

    No cheat days!
1 cheat day a week is 52 days a year
2 cheat days are 104 days a year
    As per Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn
