Great Idea! Gray Martin, a commercial grower and hybridizer, recommended we call the LaVerne plants by the grower... So The standard is "Paul's LaVerne Pink" because there is now also a Spicy Exotic's LaVerne Pink, and Edna's LaVerne Pink, and more. This one is a great fruit. I'll have a few cuttings available in the spring. Thanks for watching.
I agree with u on DS. Mine was on its second season n the fruit it gave me this time around was great. It was like I was scooping grapes into my mouth. 🤣😋 Have you tried Laverne red?
Paul’s Laverne Pink looks great and the Darkstar is no slouch either! I’d love to get some cuttings when you have them available.
Deal! They are excellent fruit in my opinion.
They look so good...bright colors!!
Yes! Stunning varieties... Thanks for watching.
I wish you'd do your brix test in the actual center before taking a chunk out lol... would score even higher
I like to eat it... It might be 1/10 to 5/10 higher, so you are correct.
I think that particular LaVerne Pink should be to be renamed to "Paul's Pink" or "Pink Paul", and I would gladly buy a cutting from you.

They look delicious!🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
They are both excellent varieties in my opinion.

Yes, it's a great fruit too, but I think I like Darkstar a bit more.
Que tal! Cómo se te hace el sabor? Semejante a delight? O?
Yes, but I like Darkstar a bit more.
@@RAREDRAGONFRUIT Ok. Gracias. Y saludos
Hi Paul, could you sell me some cuttings of your laverne pink, please let me know if you have some available, thanks. I live in orange county.
And all of my DF varieties hardly cross 13% brix score. 😒
I bet they will improve next season. I used Dr. Earth Bud and Bloom fertilizer and liked the results very much.
😋😋👍
Thanks!
Friend both need cross pollination, to form fruit.
Yes, that is correct.
