Stacey Keach was born to play Mike Hammer. What Jeremy Brett brought to Sherlock Holmes, Stacey brings to Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer. Thank you very much for uploading this immortal series on to TH-cam.
So much BS, don’t know where to begin. Just gotta keep telling myself-- brainless Hollywood entertainment. Think of it as an adult cartoon. That’s the only thing that makes it palatable for me. Hopefully I can tread water for 15 more minutes before drowning in BS.
Once again!!!! Good ol' Mike comes through! Real heroics or should we say superhuman action. Cracked ribs, Busted head, out in the desert. Las Vegas has sure changed since I lived there ( 1942 )! NYC has too but.... it's still the only city! Keep 'em coming Mike!
Yes, there are some parallels to the Rockford Files, however the writing and acting was much better, and had one of the most talented and beloved American male actors ever, James Garner. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
@@keithbannister9271 Agreed about James Garner 100 percent but the Mike Hammer series had great writing and acting too. Stacey Keach was a perfect for Mike Hammer and Jim Garner was for Jim Rockford. 👍
Only Mike could be lucky enough to be gone for a week, come back, and pick up where he left off. Yikes! The women are truly beautiful. I love Linda Carter. ❤ It is sad that life, sometimes, is a sheep dip show, and you can't find the honey. The school of hard knocks will eventually visit everyone. Thanks for uploading a great video.
That was so crazy it was good have to say the plot was nearly the longest and best of that period i have seen he is a great actor and i reajy enjoy the series thank you for bringing back a great show ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Man, in today's world the "mob" would tear down CBS studios were this was filmed. I mean we can't have tough "real men" and beautiful feminine women can we?
There's approximately two full minutes missing in this movie, and they must contain Don Stroud's appearance as the plane's captain. The athletic and durable Stroud, as of 2024, is still working and going strong at 80. Tragically, the once NFL Raider, Lyle Alzado, 6 years younger, would be deceased within 3 years of this movie's release in 1989, having paid a huge price for use of PEDs i.e. steroids.
It's about time a studio released a new Mike Hammer film. But I guess with all the stupidity I've been seeing of late, maybe they'd screw it up. On second thought, scratch that. Keach will do just fine.
Stacey Keach as Mike Hammer was entertaining when this aired especially since I lived in a rural area where we did not have movie theaters in our town and limited tv channels back then. I like Stacey Keach and Spillane writes like a misogynist! Once past that and looking at the books as they were written one can be entertained!
I liked Stacey Keach in that 80s film where he played a lorry driver . It was set in Australia. Jamie Lee Curtis was also in the film 🎥 😊 I can't remember the name of the film?

Sexy private detective music starts to play, he stands up and then proceeds to push the secretary and her 12 year old nephew out of his way. What was the purpose of that?

Indeed!
Spot on,what a loss both Stacey and Jeremy ❤
You are one hundred percent correct. Always good to know there is some one on this planet 🌎 who appreciates real talent 🎞📺. 🎉God Bless you my friend.🥸

Good grief, couldn’t the wardrobe department at least wet his clothes after getting out of Lake Mead?
Omg, this was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid!!! Thank you💓

Great show great times
Great movie! Love how Mike is always dragged into these insane situations lol. Reminds me of Jim Rockford's crazy life.

"Hammer" was a great name for this series, because he was certainly a big ham!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Great character! I just adore Stacy Keach😎🥰
Good story. Lots of action. The role was made for Keach. He's so smooth.
I'm a minute fifty into this and I already can't wait to see the rest lol
I love this show. Thanks for posting it . I subscribed to your channel
This is so authentically cheesy, it's mesmerizing

Stacey is a great actor. He can play anybody.
He was so funny on Two and a Half Men.
Wow.. didn't expect Jim Carrey here..
Great show with Mike Hammer
I always loved Stacey Keach as Mike Hammer. NB: High Quality up load???
Good photography and production values here. The private eye mythology marches on in good hands.
thank you was quite interesting.
Enjoyed this.

22:57 Lynda. 37:24 Jim Carrey.
Great episode
I love stuff like this

Great. Thanks Don jack
Thanks for the upload. Could you also get Murder Me Murder You from 1983 and the Return of Mike Hammer from 1986?
Return rules!!!!!
They are uploaded.

Since when does doctors offer patients cigarettes in the hospital ward???
Hospitals were smoking in the 80's. It changed in later years.
Once upon a time that indeed did happen!!
"The Rosy Buttes. A ranch of ill repute." Brilliant.
Great movie. Thanks Don Jack.
May 21, 1989, to be precise, Don.
Well, it's true.
Completely ridiculous, and very entertaining, in the tradition of Mickey Spillane flicks.
Good episode
Never trust a funny accountant
brings back memories astro
I Miss Watchin' TV Movies Tho!
Do you have the TV movie "Daddy" (1991), which Lynda Carter starred along with Patrick Duffy?
Stacey Keach as Mike Hammer was entertaining when this aired especially since I lived in a rural area where we did not have movie theaters in our town and limited tv channels back then. I like Stacey Keach and Spillane writes like a misogynist! Once past that and looking at the books as they were written one can be entertained!
Jim Carrey on the set don't make joke
Excellent...!!
The good ole days when you could smoke in a hospital. Aint freedom great.
Absolute sexist show but Stacy Keach made it all bearable lol
Super!
Jim's best role
Col. Flagg, that's all we need!
my god Carter is soooooo evil ,never seen her played a bad guy (girl) before ,and she great amost steal the show ,but Keach would not let that happen
I liked Stacey Keach in that 80s film where he played a lorry driver . It was set in Australia. Jamie Lee Curtis was also in the film 🎥 😊 I can't remember the name of the film?
Love is all that matters ❤❤❤❤❤
I used to love this series, but I kind of wish it was set in the 30s...
The characters were first created for the 1940s, shortly after the 2nd world war.
@@bonghunezhou5051 Ya, I know... I've collected many of the books. I just mean the character fits that era better.
If this is lady luck - she's a little late.
Good movie
Great series

Jim Carrey, saying 'about a career change, do you think I'm funny. Who would have known then.

Stacey Keach is still alive and still acting!
Was he set up when caught with cocaine at the air port ,????
Omg Gorgeous ❤❤❤❤❤
Mike, whoever you are. Reply. I have a question.
Lynda Carter is perfect as a dark lady
Sexy private detective music starts to play, he stands up and then proceeds to push the secretary and her 12 year old nephew out of his way. What was the purpose of that?
37:00 Jim Carrey cameo

Did not like the story line of Las Vegas as the center of the plots.
If she’s 22 am 100lb
Jim Carrey as an extra!
Tanya Roberts the was in the original pilot I
I prefer Malowe
Pretty stupid but very enjoyable

And that terrible toupee
Even 1980's tacky movies are welcome in face of the woke crap that we have to see today.

If you haven’t subsidized yet - well what can I say ✨🤔❓You just aren’t the intriguing sort ✨🤔⁉️
tired old boring plot
Go back to watching The Kardashians.
Last time I seen stacy he was in a gay relationship with James Evans
The cheesy story, juvenile script, B" grade acting, and Keach was an embarrassment.
